Either way, I stand by what I said. Besides, It's also safe to say this movie doesn't even take place within the continuity of either the 2k3 series of the 1980's series, considering the movie said there were tons of alternate universes.

So who knows, maybe what we were watching in the end were just turtles from alternate universes having nothing to do with the 2k3 series or the classic series.

so you make a good point. HOWEVER, what is also possible (and i havnt seen this movie or am very up to date with the new show, i always plan to catch up) is that this movie takes place in say 1987 season 3 and 2003 season ...you tell me...a missing story for both shows.

the Technodrome's location is a good hint. underground? that could be season 3.

that Krang, Shredder Bebop and Rocksteady got back together and they got the Technodrome working again (and back to Earth) plus repair the Foot soldiers and Krang's body. save to say last time we saw them they where all in horribe shape.

and the new look of 1987 season 8? that doesnt really matter.

save to say i look forward to this movie, but i have to admit more for the 1987 characters.

HOLY CRAP!!! The 80s Michelangelo is using his nunchuks and not his grapler!!?! THANK GOD!!! I wonder if that ol' turtle grapler would get a reference in the flick, considering parent control UK hated the nunchuks so much they forced the show to get rid of them.

the movie takes place BEFORE the red sky episodes, hence the turtles act goofy in it. However, if you wanna see the 2 shredder's face off, you'll be disappointed. Classic Shredder gets his ass handed to him by 2k3 Shredder AND Karai rather quickly

It takes place after... given that The Technodrome stays upgraded at the end of the movie. Nothing in red sky changed all that much except the goofier aspects were played down SLIGHTLY. The only thing that keeps the argument solid is April in her banana outfit.

I wouldn't say that... in the end of the old series, the technodrome is pretty much destroyed and abandoned, the foot soliders, bebop, and rocksteady are nowhere to be found, and Shredder and Krang seemed to have abandoned it. Not to mention Krang's original body was also destroyed at the end of the red sun episodes, being used to fight lord dregg in the final episode and then exploding.

Krang's android body was also nowhere to be seen in the gap between season seven and the red sky, so continuity is already scatter-brained.

And The Technodrome CAN be repaired very easily. Shredder and Krang could have a veil of Mung's nanobots, but we don't know where they landed...obviously it wasnt anywhere near Bellerathon. That doesnt mean they couldnt have eventually made their way back there.

the song is "Pizza Power," I believe it was written for the original TMNT stage tour, "comin out of our shells." However it is more widely remembered for being in the most awesome tmnt video game "turtles in time" -though the lyrics to the song only appeared in the arcade release, not the snes version.

Check the first related video. It's titled "Ninja Turtles 25th Anniversary Top Ten Commercial". Thirty seconds into it, they briefly mention the upcoming crossover movie. Nobody knows anything about the voices yet, though. Supposedly, there will be a sneak preview of the movie at this year's Comic Con.
