I grew up in Metuchen, NJ and we had dances with live bands every weekend at different venues, mostly at Metuchen High School, the YMCA, The CYO and the Presbyterian Church.
George Bushman was the leader of the Dynamics, a 4 piece(3 guitars and a drummer)
George played a few instrumentals in the beginning and Soul Twist was one of them.
I also remember Sand Storm and "You Can't Sit Down as an instrumental.
Those days, 1962-1966 were the best for the dances and music in out town.
