  • Great vid!

  • it proves something about them when they send a designer to represent them and not a sails men.

  • I like the way the sights are stayin' low. Good job.

  • Take your gum out when talking other than that good vid ( But honestly TAKE THE GUM OUT)

  • Yankee Hill creator grandson dude rocks.

  • Yankee Hill creator grandson rocks.

  • I paid 130 for a spector length diamond series floating handrail with barrel and jam nut, I think that's a huge value for what you get.

  • This vid just sold me on the YHM BUIS.... What a great compnay... I tell them nutn sent me.

  • Chewing gum man? Just messing, I love your work man, whenever I look for reviews I search you first. I am actually going with a YHM 20" barrel on my first AR build! Can't wait!

  • Nutn, what do you think of the YHM AR15 as a whole rifle? They make a Black Diamond version that is pretty sweet. Is it something you'd spend the 1350 on or....?

  • Nutn you freaking rule at guessing ounces.

  • Rock and rolla

  • i don't care what anybody says, I love YHM and have a ton of their stuff, including the QDS buis (two sets, actually) and they're great. I'd like to see them come out with some QD mounts to compete with Larue. Good stuff and so sensibly affordable.

  • let me guess was the tactical nylon guy who was talking shit from OSE?

  • Y H M ROCKS!!!

  • @ 3:30 Amery

  • Has Nutn ever mentioned the brand of the tactical nylon vendor who rubbed him the wrong way? Curious if it could have been Camelbak

  • @traines2332 I dont think so, he still uses camelbaks.

  • @Kylef7735

Looking at the price that he was talking about...you think it might be BDS?

  • @bandsaw000o0 They fit the description, but idk.

  • I'd have to say this guy was the best of the reps that you filmed at the SHOT show. Thanks TNP for bringing all of us into the show with your vids.

  • Man... I would totally get a boner, when being at a show like that. To bad there aren't shows like that in Norway!

  • Could you comment on the Taurus TCP 380

  • just bought a YHM Phantom Suppressor...LOVE IT

  • Good info. I'm going with Yankee Hill flip up sight for my flat top. He sounds like the alien from bugs bunny. Wheres the Earth shattering caboom?lol

  • Great to see the people behind the products -- especially when they're stand-up guys like the one in this YHM vid. Thanks for posting, Nutn!

  • Dang that Chris dude sold me on YHM products... great vid.

  • easily be converted to a hunting variety. If you get a tactical shotgun with a short enough tube, all you have to do is put a tube restriction in there, at least where I'm from. I've done it before bud. I think we all need to realize we are all different and have different views on WROL and the use of those weapons. The important thing to know is that if we are all law abiding, America loving people, we need to stick with what we know and not judge people. That goes for BOTH sides of this.

  • johniac you're wrong buddy. First of all a police officer has to have your permission to search a vehicle unless you're being arrested, then they can search any "arms reach unlocked" area or compartment unless they're doing a vehicle tow-"search incident to arrest." doing so without could cost him a badge or LWP. Furthermore, there's more to this tactical thing than WROL. Aside from prep, it is alot of fun, it is a hobby to build your own weapons, its competitive, and the carbines can...

  • Q: How many atheists does it take to screw in a light bulb?

A: None. Atheists question whether it's really light anyway.

  • Nice Vid bro...I love Yankee Hill

  • Wow, I've never even heard of YHM. I'm not too up-to-date on suppressors, because I've never needed one for anything, but those pistol suppressors look really long. Is that normal length for a pistol application?

  • "guy was a dick!" now thats keep'n it real lmao

  • @poobank Lol yeah, I found that funny too :D

  • Guns id like to see on Nutnfancy

    Ruger SR-22 Tac.

Smith and Wesson M&P Pro 9mm

Daniel Defense M4 Rail system !!!!!!

  • Q. I can NOT find the LaVang front any more. I am heading to Tulsa next month to the to look for one. Did no if anyone could help finding a web site.

  • Mattschol sounds like a damned politcian don't he? Here is a perfect reason for you. if I am in a natural disaster scenario, such as katrina or haiti. Where I live there is open field across the street. Lots of game. I don't want to tell the whole town I just killed some food for my family. Nor do I want to show up and see my family who has lots of cover in the house, fighting for there lives. With a silencer I could from the bushes attack the enemy and not give my position away. See? Simple.

  • I bought their diamond rifle-length rail, upper, and fluted 1:7 twist barrel and love them all. Their upper came from the reseller with a few blems but all is good...

  • Murphy's Laws Of Combat Operations

    Friendly fire - isn't.

    Recoilless rifles - aren't.

    Suppressive fires - won't.

    Silenced guns - Rock!

  • Two atoms are walking down the street, and one says to the other, "Wait, wait, we have to go back. I've lost an electron somewhere."

The second atom says, "Really? Are you sure?"

To which the first atom replies, "Yes. I'm positive."

  • Lol, thats a good one. I'll have to tell that to my more inteligent friends.

  • A neutron walks into a bar. "I'd like a beer" he says.

The bartender promptly serves up a beer.

"How much will that be?" asks the neutron.

"For you?" replies the bartender, "no charge"

  • @MrMindfucker A photon checks into a hotel, the doorman asks "Can i take your bags" the photon replys, no need, im traveling light.

  • @MrMindfucker

LOL! Dang I just saw this comment, now I want to go back and play Fallout New Vegas again. I wonder how many people actually know that you're quoting a game :)

  • Mrmindfkr. Why doesnt mexico have an olympic team? Cuz' if you can run, jump, or swim your already here :)

  • @MrMindfucker

An atom walks into a bar.

    Stays for a while.

    Then splits.

  • Great gear.... Canada sucks. We can only dream about having a quiet can. Another good vid NUTN .Thanks dude.

  • RTAK II on sale at smokey mountain knife works $ 60!!!!!!

  • Holy crap.

  • @1ManAgain DUDE THANKS! ORDERED ONE JUST NOW! BEEN LOOKING @ THEM FOR 130.00+ AT LOCAL GUN SHOW . AGAIN THANKS ALOT

  • RTAK II on sale at smokey mountain knife works $60!!!!!!

  • very cool great video I want the cobra for my G-22 40.cal thanks for another great video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • YHM is extremely high value. GREAT prices for what you get. Love these guys.

  • @johniac7078

If the person is buying it legally what's the problem? I've got Pecan trees and make a little money off of them. I'm extremely prejudiced against squirrels that's all.

  • why would a civilian need a gun? Seriously, i can think of at least 5 reasons for me to put a fire suppressor on a barrel, work your imagination.

Even in Russia it's perfectly legal.

  • You only need one reason... It's a safety item to save your hearing. Your car is REQUIRED to have a muffler, what's wrong with putting on a gun? Stand at a range next to a high power rifle and you'll be glad the person next to you had it suppressed after you hear the difference. $200 tax stamp and some paperwork isn't that big of a deal, I'll have a video on how all that works out soon.

  • Then you're really not saying anything at all, other than making blanket statements. Interesting fact, the suppressor was invented by the same person who invented the muffler.

  • it minimizes wabbling of the gun, evenso a smooth barrell, it minimizes abrassive things that come out of the barrell, it lessens sounds, it looks cool and doesn't in any way enhance the weapon lethality (range, firepower, conceleability ...), not against humans anyways, i never go hunting as i like animals i shoot only targets, ... i could go on anytime and make cry the cop or lawyer on how goodhearted i am but you get the general line.

  • I assume you're a gun owner. I can't believe you're using language like this. "Need". Are you serious? Why would a civilian need more than 10 rounds in a magazine. Why would a civilian need anything more than a bolt action hunting rifle. Why would a civilian need more than one gun. Sound familiar?

Just drop the "need" language entirely. Most of the what we own isn't out of need anyway, it's out of want. How about thinking outside your box of "what's good for me is good for everyone else", okay?

  • lets get it straight. It may be want for you, but it's need for me. maybe you should just go buy one.

  • Need is a loose term but I assume you've never had anything bad happen to yourself or your children. For myself, if I can have a 15 round mag in my Sig or a 30 round mag in my AR, I will. Live through a riot, or loosing a child and then tell me what you NEED

  • You're yet another user who has replied without understanding my post. This is growing tiresome. First off, I was replying to a specific user. Second, I'm as avid a shooter as anyone here, perhaps more so than some. Lastly, read the reply I made to the user LibertyCzar.

  • Comment removed

  • Reading comprehension is at an all time low.

First off chief, save the speech. My comment was in reply to another user who was saying that the lack of "need" was some ground for not having any of these things at all.

I listed those questions because they are the same RIDICULOUS questions people who aren't in the shooting community ask.

Don't for one second make baseless assumptions and call into question my loyalties on the gun issue. I'm the owner of four handguns and a BCM and Noveske AR.

  • I actually seriously apologize. After reading your comment again I feel like a dipshit. Total miscommunication on my part. Sometimes it's hard to catch sarcasm in a typed message. My bad.

  • If you're not a felon, and you've got the proper "approval", you've got nothing to explain. WROL, and you'll find 5 reasons for a good gun & silencer every day. And if you are dumb enough to have neither, then you'd better make friends with someone who does...and then stay very close to him, or her.

  • John, guys like you make me puke. I didn't see anyone saying that a silencer was the "first" thing they need, just an important option for a law abiding American Citizen. The bigger picture is about being smart enough to be prepared to survive anything. It's also pretty lame of you to be insulting the "tactical" crowd, as most of these guys and gals are also the same military & law enforcement crowd that put their lives on the line to defend your right to be such a clueless, judgmental ass.

  • @StevenMartin1966 Steve, he's gone..he's been ALL over TNP leaving trash sentiments like the one you're responding to. A giagantic AE and GIDT.

  • LOL, check out his vids. He himself is a huge Nutnfancy wannabe. Then he turns right around and critisizes him.

  • @jdfarmerboy2640,

It's because he knows he'll never be as good.

  • @johniac7078 Hey John..piss off. I've had a bellyful of your pathetic AE comments...you're blocked.

  • Ooh! The Lioness pounces!

  • LOL more like big puddy tat. :D -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy LOL

  • @Verilioness Happy New Year Verilioness and the gang.

  • to be fair, suppressing a .22 isn't hard. Suppressing a .308 and making it durable is impressive.

  • yeahhhh las vegas baby

  • gum in your mouth is annoying

  • good stuff

  • I always love to see a family owned business succeed

  • love the P22 can....man that would be fun if we were allowed in MI...SUCKS......great vid bro, real fun!!!

  • @joshlone1982 I know MI sucks sometimes. :(

  • @neolexington MI Blows...enough said lol

  • Gums gotta go!

  • Dude...ditch the gum.

  • The Nutnfancy scale strikes again. always within 2 oz good job

  • Tax stamps and paperwork, lots of paperwork for class 3

  • Anyone know the requirements for class 3? Assuming any state.

  • great vid

  • Another great vid. I bought a diamond series forearm (free float) about 3 months ago and so far so good. Haven't put a ton of rounds through, but very solid.

  • Rabbits are generally shot with subsonic .22 ammo here, which makes the shot almost silent with a suppressor. You are pretty much legally entitled to have a sound mod if you shoot live quarry here because of the health benefits!!!

  • Why would you need one? Well, suppressors, or sound moderators as we call them in the UK, are the norm for UK deer hunters and vermin shooters because 1. They stop the gradual process of going deaf and 2. they may give you a slight advantage when shooting more than one animal. A group of deer are often unaware that one of their number has been shot, meaning that another one or more can be taken if the cull plan requires it.

  • This is why your vids are so good, you introduce us to new and quality products. Thx.

  • Thanks Nutn!

  • running into the grandson of the conpanies founder, small world.

very knowledgeable & yet again another stellar SHOT show interview!

  • Another cool family started and run business! Awesome!

  • Nuntfancy do you get endorsments or deals on guns and gear for all the advertising u do????? Seems to me that alot of your videos are simply advertising for company's. Not that i dont like your videos but from before to now all you seem to be doing is advertising. Which to me makes me QUESTION your thoughts and beliefs because all for i know your getting paid to do this?????????

  • @DSMtsi23

If you knew anything about his project you wouldn't think that.

  • Um....No

  • @DSMtsi23 Yes, cause his vids are so influential. It would make sense to pay this dude to say a few good things about a specific product in a youtube vid. I suppose every negaitve comment he has ever made in the hundreds of vids he has made were meticulously placed just to confuse YOU.

  • @DSMtsi23. He has explained this many times in numerous videos. He just simply reviews gear that he thinks is high value or stuff that he likes a lot. He is an independent reviewer and does not get paid to do anything he does. Hope that answers your question.

  • You want him to make up something bad about a product?

He generally only talks about the stuff he likes, so it makes sense that most of it would be positive. On the occasion something comes up that he doesn't like, he generally either has very little to say, or says outright that he does not like it. (check out his reviews of the Taurus Judge, or the Tom Brown Tracker Knife, for examples of this)

He does not get paid to do this, though some manufacturers give discounts to US through HIM.

  • @DSMtsi23 Yeah, he doesn't get paid, he saves US cash though.

  • Really? That's what a gear reviewer does. They review gear, brands included. I have found Nutn to be one of the best, if not the best reviewers around. AND HE DOESN'T CHARGE!!! No other gear reviewer I have found makes things so cut and dry and methodical.

Seriously, Nutn and Veri, keep it up.

  • Define "advertising".

  • Chris did a great job. I think that is a man who loves his job.

  • Cool booth review! I just got into my first AR and have a 28-A Phantom Flash Suppressor on mine. I didn't realize they made sights or suppressors, though. Good info.

    Thanks Nutn!

  • I spotted Chris's pocket clip!

    The Man carries a knife!

  • McDonald v Chicago - a very important 2nd & 14th amendment rights case was heard by the Supreme Court yesterday. Please check out the NRA-ILA website for the latest information. Depending on how the Court rules, this could make or break out 2nd amendment rights. Keep vigilant.

  • Excellent Host!

  • Great video! Looks like some cool products from YHM.

  • good stuff man

  • that walther p22 is love incarnated I dream of that weapon

  • I really don't mean to be negative, but I bought one about 4 years ago feeling the same way...I regret it. Not a very well designed gun. If you want specifics, send me a message. Right now my double action doesn't work, and its not a loose spring like many suggest. Ruger mark III 22/45 is looking real good.

  • That guy was cool..

    Good stuff Nutn

  • Good stuff! Family run/owned business for over 50 years...they're doing something right!

  • I was shocked to see how simple the internals of a suppressor looked. I thought he was going to disassemble it and "intense science and gadgetry" would come spilling out, but I was mistaken. I had never seen that before. Just another cool presentation supplied by Nutn'!

  • Nineteen minutes of coolness w/ Chris.... Great stuff as always, Nutn!

  • Not one for suppressors or anything like that but good to know information on the subject.

  • will the cobra work witht he factory glock threaded barrels ? like the ones for glock 17 pro and 19 pro ?

  • Nice video, I enjoyed watching that.

  • Great vid! Chris was grear!

  • nut i would love it if you could get your hands on a Surefire suppressor, i know they are expensive but i heard its an awesome sup.

  • am i the only 1 that noticed the capital U in nutn? lol

  • Will these sound suppressors work with the Sig 556?

I can't decide if I want one of the Phantom flash suppressors or one of the Comp/Brake setups.

Very nice booth review. I really like YHM quality and price. Customer service is great too.

  • Finally somebody else is asking about the Sig 556.

  • Yea, I can't see why it wouldn't. Takes the same AR-15 threads. Also believe the gas system has a suppressor selection. I haven't done it or seen anyone who done it before. Was just curious to see if anyone on here has done it.

  • why are gun folk so camera shy ?

  • Yankee Hill Machine makes quality stuff.

  • Who didn't make bombs when they were a kid? LOL nutn is the man!

  • flash suppressers and silencers are illegal in ny.....=/

  • Thats because NY is a bucket of fuck as far as gun law goes... I feel bad for ya brother.

  • Escape From New York

  • I feel your pain bro. Im from NY as well.. we cant do anything gun related, well barely anyway

  • seriously theres soooo much red tape in just trying to own a handgun by the time im 21 firearms will probably be banned in all..im 19 btw so yeah

  • Nice vid, thx. I wouldn't know about their company otherwise. I can't have suppressors here in CA. I'm pretty sure about that anyway.

  • There are many CA DOJ approved AR15's. Smith & Wesson makes a nice CA, AR15. Instead of a flash suppressor, they come with a muzzle break. They also have a bullet button, mag release and 10 round detachable. mag. That makes them NOT an assault weapon under CA definition. I haven't shot my M&P15 at night, I'm not sure if the muzzle break dampens the flash. CA gun lovers buy an AR15, the lefty commie libs, might close the bullet button loop hole.

  • LMAO "no workie very good"

  • Dude i was hoping you would put out a YHM vid. Great value products. My BUIS is YHM and soon i will be ordering one of thier rail systems

  • This review was great! When Chris just rattles of that part number like it was nothing and then, you discover his grandfather was the guy who started it al, l, it was priceless. I was looking @ YHM free floaters way before I witnessed this review and will no doubt stay. Yeah they are wide but a foregrip will compensate.

  • Any guesses on the "tactical nylon" D-Bag?

  • Did Nutnfancy ever say what vendor pissed him off??

  • @Reconcamo69, lol Im wondering if it was magpul haha. I could see Chris Costa and friends making fun of Nutn.

I like Nutn and understand who he is and what hes trying to do, but I could definitely see those guys looking down on him.

  • I remember him saying it was a tactical nylon company..i was thinking Eagle, or T.A.G...I like both companies but it sounds like something one of them would say being they are both on the higher end as far as price range.

  • Yeah, I doubt it was magpul. His earlier point was that "their" stuff was overly priced. Magpul's prices are decent.

  • This was great with the interview with Chris. The guy was the product engineer, of course he knows the part number for every part, the weight, every detail of the product. Great video.

  • SWEET!!!!

  • silencers realy dont make the gun silent all they do is dampen the sound a bit. unless its a 22 then you might get it pretty quiet

  • I saw a guy at my gun range with a hk usp 45 silenced and it was so quiet all I heard was the hammer strike and a little whisp.....

  • @madeinamerica650 thats cool...

  • @madeinamerica650 im just sayin from what ive read and ppl have told me....

  • Awesome!!! 5/5 : )

  • 5/5 m8

  • With the rails....

    Cheap

    Light

    Strong

You can only have 2 of the 3

    Cheap + Light = Weak

    Cheap + Strong = Heavy

    Light + Strong = Expensive

  • Thanks NutN

    Awesome Review..

Thanks Veri You Rock.. Thanks For keeping this project running :)

  • These guys use the same range as i do, and i see some of them around town now and again. They always bring a bunch of AR-15's up to the range with the suppressors, From what ive seen they are pretty damn durable, they are up there all the time function testing.

  • Haha, I put earplugs on when I start up one of my cars.

  • Mr Nutnfancy, do you see lots of ammunition at these types of shows? I just bought my first rifle yesterday, a WASR 10/63 and the shop wanted 6.95 for a box of 15 rounds.

    That seems a little pricey.

  • Go to a local gunshow. I bought 500 7.62x39 rounds for about $110 USD

  • Hmm. Alrighty! Were they Wolf brand? The boxes I got now are Koma Metak, from Yugoslavia. They come in little brown boxes with generic white and black labels.
