That is an excessive shortcut, a one size fits all; Marriage is a form of contract. Contracts are generally for people who are scared and fear being dropped or betrayed. I prefer by far the pure trust.

Regarding the science, oxytocin is independent of marriage status. Although I like what you are saying, I still would propose a vision of things which is bit less unilateral.
