The "8-hour-day" is the idea that employers can't walk over employees. On the left, this is a common struggle. This song highlights that the left won't go beyond reform, into revolution.

@RaymondSuny If you have to live with a State, a liberal state is the best. Conservative state easily becomes fascism which is the enemy of anarchism. Authoritarian Communists are also an enemy. But in our society you choose your masters. Do want them to be corporate tyrants or a partially democratic state? I'd choose a liberal state over a corporation any day. While, I'd prefer anarchy a liberal libertarian state is the second best thing.

I am an anarchist, but sometimes we have to deal with reality. The Government of Canada, isn't fascist nor is it going to fall any time soon. My fear is that if you draw down the State, you bring up the corporations. I don't want that. So, while I don't support the State, I will try to keep my priorities in check.
