I'm not a Muslim or Christian so I try to stay out of the fight as much as possible. However, it seems odd that people in the US are surprised that after killing 1 million Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan (mostly innocent civilians) there would be some repercussion. I'm surprised most Muslims have been so open to the US empire. But then again, it's not my fight so good luck with the battle.

We are in countries who ask for our presence. That was the case with Viet Nam. as well as more recent as you call them occupations. As I recall most Iraqis are glad we freed them from Sadam. We know of the terrorist training camps in Afganistan. We try to avoid civilian casualties. That wasn't the case on 911. That's not the case when they fire missiles into civilian populations in Israel from their hospitals and mosques so any retaliation would kill their own innocent civilians.
