How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know. I'll tell you though... Right now, this one here is the greatest cup I think I've ever had.
THIS IS AWESOME!!! i woodnt kno how hard it is to lern this by ear cuz i cant play piano and i only lerned "mary had a little lamb" and "are you sleeping" by ear...
So AWESOME! This is one of my favorite songs in the game. And I like how for only this song there's a dark background and everything. And dood, I would mess up playing a song like that in the dark.
It was funny, I played this song for a few friends, who had never heard of Phoenix Wright, and they were all like, "Hey, maybe we should go have some coffee later." I swear, I almost died! It was just too perfect~!
@AnimeLoverBird LAWL u actually telling me u hypnotized em into coffee?? hmm.. i fell like a mug of it myself, bitter and black as hell... hmmmmmm(homer simpson style hmm)
As Godot would say HA! You sir are indeed a man that drinks down the darkness rather than drown in it. Thumbs way up for having good taste in music and a wonderful ear for music. The piano helps bring out the blues esque feel of Fragrance of Dark Coffee.
I don't care what u all say but u HAVE to admit that this Jordan guy is really good at music and there nothing u can do to change this fact! The day i learn this song by ear my life would be so fulfilled... So unachievable yet he can do it. I highly doubt that he's lying so people pls give him the respect he derserves.
So, wait a second... Robotman42 is trying to help in improving Jordeez1949's playing, and he is told to stop trolling... Because the player may not be able to handle some constructive critisism!?
Seriously, people need to stop whining about critique...
That being said, this was damn nice to listen to :)
My gosh Dyne, shut up! Robotman is simply stating what he thinks Jordeezy could do to improve the music from what I've seen. Besides, I want to read what EVERYONE thinks about this instead of just the two of you.
On that note, I think it sounds amazing! I and my lack of a musical ear couldn't detect anything wrong with it, and I think I'll enjoy listening to this several more times over the next few days.
Not that there's anything you 'could' state, regardless of whether or not it actually has validity.
Simply put, take a break and definately put some logic into your statements. Making "praises" by subtle put downs. "This is fine but you're missing everything the original has" kind of statements and "It's fine but it's all wrong and could and (should) be..." kind of statements require you to choose your words wisely. If you do choose'em wisely, you proved my point over and over again. See ya.
Sorry to butt in Robotman, but to some people, your type of critism can be very overwhelming. I'm not saying you aren't trying to be helpful, it's just that Jordeezy himself stated that his music wasn't 100% perfect (as said in the info box)and he knows that.
So you think there's a few wrong notes, no one could tell - to me every note was harmonized greatly and I'm a piano player of 7years myself.
I'm just saying, don't make it sound as if it it is such a necessity to fix.
omg Robot is just giving constructive criticism. I am positive jordeezy wasnt very offended. When you post a vid on youtube you leave it open for criticism, every director here knows that. There is a big difference between criticism and trolling. Trolling is being rude and offensive on purpose with the intent to piss off as many people as possible. That isnt what he was doing =/
Be as it may that you claim that it's not your intention, you have proven otherwise.
On the contrary, you actually believe that your praises in the form of meek satire, sarcasm, or passive nonchalant attitude with a dash of insult is not trolling? So be it if you wish to delude and deceive yourself further.
Furthermore, no one claimed that you are judging the musician based on his existence by virtue of the word, but again you are avoiding the obvious. Re-read what I said. Logic goes a long way
For the record, don't avoid the facts by utilizing circular logic, Robotman42. You clearly judged the musician's music in which he has told us in the description that he does not have the sheet music and most likely played by ear. Ergo, you are judging the musician by virtue in judging his music.
Godot........I feel really sorry for him.....:( That music really reminds me to the end of "Bridge to the tunabout", you know what happens, don't you? I wish i could see any other T&T theme ^^

Learning piano by ear is quite a bit harder than trombone. You don't have to deal with harmonies. You can just find the melody and stick with that.

Hold it! Let me be the one to end this sorry excuse of a debate since you deny the truth by presenting my own final evidence.
"Furthermore, no one claimed that you are judging the musician based on his existence by virtue of the word, but again you are avoiding the obvious."
That was to contradict your digressing off-topic when pointed out that your "criticism" is sheer muck and it had nothing to do with your point made.
You are seeing the depth of your ways now, that is productivity.

Simply listen and keep yourself out of trouble.
Dyne 3 years ago
So basically all you do is troll anything Phoenix Wright related unless it's from the actual company / composers / writers, etc.
I see from this standpoint that you are a very bright and sharp young man, Robotman42 but for your sake and the sake of everyone else.
Simply keep your opinions to yourself, you're doing yourself an injustice by simply critiquing every fan-made media out in existence.
As far as the playing goes, it is fantastic for that playing by ear or lack of sheet music. Thanks.
