  • Only a foolish fool from the land of foolish fools would dislike this! *whip*

  • Always gets you in the mood for a fresh brew... B-)

  • Now this makes me wanna learn the piano :D

  • @GeoZx1021 hahaha thats a fact

  • what would truly make this performance gold is 3 red lines glowing in the darkness

  • i don't see why people bother pressing the dislike button, it's useless because Godot can't see red on a white background

  • Hes playing it at night to remember the time he drank coffee in the morning ;D

  • Add milk to the dark bitterness that is coffee.

    Stir.

    You, Trite are the milk...

...And you, your Honor, is the spoon.

  • Defenitely the best song in any video game.

  • It was funny, I played this song for a few friends, who had never heard of Phoenix Wright, and they were all like, "Hey, maybe we should go have some coffee later." I swear, I almost died! It was just too perfect~!

  • That is the power of Godot, my friend.

  • Haha, that it is.

  • @AnimeLoverBird your friends must be proper legends then XD

  • @AnimeLoverBird LAWL u actually telling me u hypnotized em into coffee?? hmm.. i fell like a mug of it myself, bitter and black as hell... hmmmmmm(homer simpson style hmm)

  • This is awesome :D

  • I like the song but I think that if he had a coffee mug in the shot that would be like Godot was playing

  • ....everytime i hear this song, i get a weird craving for coffee...

  • lol that's really funny

  • crap didn't realize someone posted the same comment till it was too late lol.

  • Blacker than a moonless night, hotter and more bitter than hell itself...That is coffee.

  • "Blacker than a moonless night, bitter than the hell itself, that is the coffee."

  • @PokeFannatic "Blacker than a moonless night, more dark and bitter than hell itself, this is coffee."

  • Phoenix: I'm sorry, the rest of the court doesn't speak Coffeenese.

    I DO! >:O

Who throws the coffee to Godot anyways?!

  • Possibly the bailiff.

  • True. o3o What would sound awesome is the sax and the piano together. That...is...win.

  • HOLD IT!

*shakes head* No...what would be impressive is the talent of his piano playing, a saxist, and a orchestra, complete with a conductor.

    ~SlimSKim13

    aka: Sam

  • love it xD

  • I came back from the depths of hell for one reason, you Mr. Jordeezy1949

  • lol :d

    I remember that

  • Oh my god, I came.

  • Judge: Godot, whats your opinion on this?

Godot: .... Drink coffee, thats one of my rules.

  • It really made me look into my soul, more dark then any coffee I could ever drink....

    Good Godot impressions guys xD

  • lol he even played it at night

  • duh, after 17 cups of coffee you won't sleep either

  • As Godot would say HA! You sir are indeed a man that drinks down the darkness rather than drown in it. Thumbs way up for having good taste in music and a wonderful ear for music. The piano helps bring out the blues esque feel of Fragrance of Dark Coffee.

  • darker and more bitter than a..WHOA SHIT THATS GOOD

  • Very well done sir!

  • i know it makes you think of coffee. since im cosplaying godot, im getting in the mood.....with 17 cups of coffee.

  • lovely song makes me feel kinda sad from the inside tough. and it makes me fele like drinking coffe XD

  • You played it really good. One of the few PW medleys I've liked on Youtube.

  • You've captured the melody that's darker and more bitter than the very dead of night...perfectly.

  • I want right now a cup of cappuccino... No! Some bitter coffee :)

  • whenever i here this tune it makes me want to drink bitter co....

  • very nice 1:10

hotter and more bitter than hell

    itself...

    That is coffee.- (Godot)

  • sure, tim hortons or starbucks?

  • this is favourite theme u_u

  • fuckign wicked.

  • It sounds great!

the first thing it makes me think of is:

"so we finally meet... Mr. Phoenix Trite!

I have returned from the depths of hell...

    to do battle with you."

  • Very nice. I especially love how even the visual atmosphere goes with the song.

  • GyakuSheets have it.

  • Ahhh nice. Nicely done my friend. Godot was the first being, living or fictional, that made coffee look good to me XD (Hate Coffee)

  • Amazing *ç*

  • If only I had enough piano-skillz to learn things by ear T_T

  • i have a link for sheet music for this song if you like

  • I also found one, but thanks anyway <3

  • i want that link for sheet music, please

  • Me too I'd love to learn this!

  • Really? Can you give me the link? This song is amazing! Great job playing it, Jordeezy!

  • you learned that by just listening to it?

  • Not really that difficult, I do it all the time, although not on a piano(reason being I can only play trombone).

  • Learning piano by ear is quite a bit harder than trombone. You don't have to deal with harmonies. You can just find the melody and stick with that.

  • Sure, but it's doable for sure. And it's an entirely different case because the instruments are different

  • i wish i could do that

  • Amazing. ^_^ Godot is awesome.

  • i wish you did have sheet music. your version of it sounds better than anything else

  • It's okay guys. I don't mind the criticism, it helps me find my mistakes so when I make future videos, they will be better.

  • I don't care what u all say but u HAVE to admit that this Jordan guy is really good at music and there nothing u can do to change this fact! The day i learn this song by ear my life would be so fulfilled... So unachievable yet he can do it. I highly doubt that he's lying so people pls give him the respect he derserves.

  • yea every1 should give him 5 stars for his piano work :)

  • So, wait a second... Robotman42 is trying to help in improving Jordeez1949's playing, and he is told to stop trolling... Because the player may not be able to handle some constructive critisism!?

Seriously, people need to stop whining about critique...

That being said, this was damn nice to listen to :)

  • he is trolling though, not all of his posts are though.

  • Great stuff.

  • My gosh Dyne, shut up! Robotman is simply stating what he thinks Jordeezy could do to improve the music from what I've seen. Besides, I want to read what EVERYONE thinks about this instead of just the two of you.

On that note, I think it sounds amazing! I and my lack of a musical ear couldn't detect anything wrong with it, and I think I'll enjoy listening to this several more times over the next few days.

  • i love godot ^.^ <3 dude u rock !!! ^o^

  • No need for repitition or redundancy. (Ensue otherwise).

  • Not that there's anything you 'could' state, regardless of whether or not it actually has validity.

Simply put, take a break and definately put some logic into your statements. Making "praises" by subtle put downs. "This is fine but you're missing everything the original has" kind of statements and "It's fine but it's all wrong and could and (should) be..." kind of statements require you to choose your words wisely. If you do choose'em wisely, you proved my point over and over again. See ya.

  • Hold it! Let me be the one to end this sorry excuse of a debate since you deny the truth by presenting my own final evidence.

"Furthermore, no one claimed that you are judging the musician based on his existence by virtue of the word, but again you are avoiding the obvious."

That was to contradict your digressing off-topic when pointed out that your "criticism" is sheer muck and it had nothing to do with your point made.

You are seeing the depth of your ways now, that is productivity.

  • Sorry to butt in Robotman, but to some people, your type of critism can be very overwhelming. I'm not saying you aren't trying to be helpful, it's just that Jordeezy himself stated that his music wasn't 100% perfect (as said in the info box)and he knows that.

So you think there's a few wrong notes, no one could tell - to me every note was harmonized greatly and I'm a piano player of 7years myself.

I'm just saying, don't make it sound as if it it is such a necessity to fix.

  • omg Robot is just giving constructive criticism. I am positive jordeezy wasnt very offended. When you post a vid on youtube you leave it open for criticism, every director here knows that. There is a big difference between criticism and trolling. Trolling is being rude and offensive on purpose with the intent to piss off as many people as possible. That isnt what he was doing =/

  • Be as it may that you claim that it's not your intention, you have proven otherwise.

On the contrary, you actually believe that your praises in the form of meek satire, sarcasm, or passive nonchalant attitude with a dash of insult is not trolling? So be it if you wish to delude and deceive yourself further.

Furthermore, no one claimed that you are judging the musician based on his existence by virtue of the word, but again you are avoiding the obvious. Re-read what I said. Logic goes a long way

  • There is some sheet music on GyakuSheets, and I found Godot's theme on there too. So, you could always print that.

  • For the record, don't avoid the facts by utilizing circular logic, Robotman42. You clearly judged the musician's music in which he has told us in the description that he does not have the sheet music and most likely played by ear. Ergo, you are judging the musician by virtue in judging his music.

Simply listen and keep yourself out of trouble.

  • So basically all you do is troll anything Phoenix Wright related unless it's from the actual company / composers / writers, etc.

I see from this standpoint that you are a very bright and sharp young man, Robotman42 but for your sake and the sake of everyone else.

Simply keep your opinions to yourself, you're doing yourself an injustice by simply critiquing every fan-made media out in existence.

As far as the playing goes, it is fantastic for that playing by ear or lack of sheet music. Thanks.

  • really awsome, especially without sheet music.

  • すげ!

    beautiful

this one is absolutely my favorite

    great job

  • This is in the top 5 of my favorite Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice songs! Keep on going!

  • o_O perfect!

  • We must change with the tides...

    That's one of my rules.

  • Instead of faving every one of your videos I'm just going to subscribe :D

  • Whoa...O_O That's like...perfect. You are amazing! ^_^

  • (O)_(O) DUDE TUTORIALS PLZ! or at least froma birds eye view angle so we can see the keys :D

  • I love you.

  • Somehow I can just imagine Godot playing this song.

  • Godot........I feel really sorry for him.....:( That music really reminds me to the end of "Bridge to the tunabout", you know what happens, don't you? I wish i could see any other T&T theme ^^

  • this court will end on my 16th cup of coffee.

Godot was almost as cool as Edgeworth and Von Karmas. I don't like Gavin from apollo justice

  • 17th...

  • this is amazing i am truely speechless how you could play it so well (bad english much? XD)

  • The fragrance of dark coffee played in a dark room makes it sound even better. I also love this theme because it sounds different to the rest.

You play piano really well this one along with cornered and Trucy's theme are my favorites.

  • Yup, coolio guy he is.

  • This is my favorite song in the whole game! faved

  • wow, this is greeeeeeaaaaaaat

    keep up the good work!

  • You should cosplay as Damon Gant and go to Otakon.

Then you'd show us your skills with your large organ.

Oh god, I included the innuendo. XD

Oh well, this is awesome. You learn by ear? That's impressive. It takes me forever to learn a basic tune by ear, and I've been playing for years.

  • please make or find sheet music freee

  • the lights...the music... the sadness...it can make anyone cry

  • YOU REALLY GOT TALENT I REALLY MEAN IT
