  • i love this song of all songs.. went to paris not to long ago, this nice old man would play it daily..in front of Norte Dame..

  • Thank you for this! It was lovely and I adore how you didn't put up pictures so I could dream.....

  • You seem to be musician. Very nice. Thanks for that record. I play the accordion as well. And I've been looking for some usable sheet of notes. Please can you send some of this song. I would like to learn it and play it too. Thanks Jaroslav

  • @beejee2008

I'm so sorry but the ones that I found on the web in meantime are all copyright protected. I can not send or publish those because I would like to respect creators/composers rights as far as possible. Contact me via boardmail, supply your email-address and I might send to you one of me own simple and basic sheetversions with own interpretation (layout / variation / arrangement)... if you like.

  • super Version von dem bekannten Stück.

Dynamic und Bass-Spiel sind sehr gut gelungen.

    Prima!

  • I love this.

  • Beautiful

  • 3 minutes long.., this should be a whole day long

  • @BABAMUMBU

    thank you !

Well, it was "designed" in my mind for relaxation, dreaming, nice memories...

    - what you make out of it is completely up to you.

Dreams are free - and everyone is free in mind, as often and as long as you like :-)

¡Agradable gran a España soleada!

  • this is truly beautiful...

  • @xoxoPinkLiliesoxox

Thank you - I am glad that you like it.

Those "oldfashioned" songs do have a unique spirit inside, something one can't find within the newer styles of last decades. It was a very special period of time with even more special artists... unforgotten, pure originals.

  • @LibertangoVieenrose very very true! very well put! your skills definitely represent that!

  • With headphones i hear some background noise lol

  • @MysterySparkStudios

say, so what are we gonna do now ? ... lol...

  • This is wundershön. I have a question though. I have only recently picked up the accordion and I have trouble with the bass keyboard (stradella). I can not jump from say, B to C as they are very far apart. Is there any tips as to how to be able to, or is it just something you feel after practice?

    Danke.

  • Hi my friend ! Piece of cake.

You talk about the "international B" (which is a german H):

    - move your left ringfinger from C one button upwards (you hit G now),

    - then move same finger one button away from you ( you hit "international B" now)

    A, E, B lays on top of F, C, G

The B is actually in close neighbourhood !

You are right if you need to play the complete set of chords (...minor, diminiched, seventh) then the B is far away: the only solution is to jump. Training !

  • ... and a versatile, experienced, sophisticated way of using all 4 fingers on the keys:

let's say: hitting the B (far away from C) with your forefinger and the C with your pinky ;-)

needs lot of training but works too.

  • thank you my friend. You've done a very mesmerizing interpretation of tis song. I hope this year will bring you everything you wish for.

  • @accordionmusic

Thank you my friend. I appreciate your well wishes... and I am sure music is giving to you the same kind of joy it is doing to me. Let's keep on running this track... I like it so much.

  • Fantastic performance!

I appreciate so much this interpretation with of very sweet harmony and great feeling.

    Enchanting sound!

    Congratulations!

  • @amarcordeon

Thank you for your encouraging words.

  • Beautiful, I only just discovered all of the amazing Édith Piaf songs too. Thanks for this :)

  • Thanks for your comment.

Piaf was (? - no - she IS still alive within her recordings) an outstanding singer. One of those stars, the world will never ever forget - by reason !

  • Thank you, 7 years ago for my 11th birthday, I was bought an accordion, I've tried to dedicate time to learn how to play it, but failed miserably, soon I might crack the old accordion out again and start learning it properly. Thanks for your wonderful videos. Adam.

  • Adam, you failed miserably ? Well, I did so too - on some other instruments. Don't mind - we all have to go our way and find our love amongst the manyfold of instruments (just have a look at my playlist INSTRUMENTS). Nobody keeps us away from a restart anyways... good luck !

  • Thanks very much. It will be 10 years since I started playing the keyboard this year. Thanks for your replies.

  • well, guess what instrument would have been my favourite - if I hadn't met the accordion ? I'm quite sure it would have been the one with the many ebony and ivory keys too... ;-)

but I shouldn''t talk about instrument in that way. I do have many favourites and like them all and you know, you can't play them all, you have to make your choice somehow...

  • Sehr schön Wolfgang, wie immer. Schade dass man dich so selten hört:-)

  • Hallo mein Freund !

Sehr schoen gespielt. Bravo!

  • sure is a favorite - thanks -so nice - **** nozie
