  • Hey everybody, here is a great drinking game for you all. Every time Roahm takes a short break, you take a shot. Trust me, it'll be pretty tough to make it through Battle Network 1 let alone Battle Network 3. Have fun.

  • you can jack into the armor in the display case in the hotell

  • ok i know im late on this video but the panda is not in the bare family but the raccoon family

  • 7:24: Species: Condor Scientific name: Annoyingus since Ninja Gaidenus. Traits: high speed, ability to clone indefinitely, can kill a man whilst flying, and has the uncanny ability to reduce gamers to tears. Ideal habitat: An NES surrounded by broken controllers, although a Wii will suffice as well. Do not be fooled, it is a killer to the core.

  • Hey Roahm, Besides Roll, Name your top 5 MegaMan EXE Navi chips from the games you played? I'm interested to know.

  • I love how the only animal not going crazy was the panda.

  • Why does the zoo have squirrels in it?

  • 13:31 I screamed when I saw the poop to the left of the screen!

  • LOL! "Its tail has poop on it!" WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO, CAPCOM?

  • Didn't Lan technically go to bed, so technically this should be the only 'Day 3' video and the Beast Man/Zoo scenario being on Day 4?

  • The sitcom comedy situation of two people missing a meeting or appointment by mere inches because they can't be bothered to look around them seems to be a running gag in the series. Off the top of my head, I can recall instances of this in both BN4 and BN5.

  • Roahm I can't figure out how to move Metalman when I use his chip, can you help?

  • 12:13 And thus, Chisao has appointed himself the Mokuba of this game. ^^

  • 10:07 - 10:10 Science hurts!

  • Elephant shite and panda butt lovin' in a Mega Man game?

  • Just like in Classic, Metal Man is basically a better version of Cut Man

  • I think that Condor's taking lessons from Tengu Man

  • MetalMan.EXE's my favorite Robot Master to NetNavi adaptation

  • I feel like a bad person for laughing at Chisao getting kidnapped...

  • speaking of the secret in the hot spring... if I'm not mistaken, it's something to do with the lion structure... I'm not sure, I haven't play the game in a while. And by the way, just asking, do you plan to make a MMBN 4 playthrough?

  • Wait, not only is Metalman, one of my favorite robot masters, in this game, looking awesome and packing heat, but his operator is fairly cute? Score.

And how does a snake look angry? I could possibly understand if it was rearing up to attack, but I'm pretty sure it's facial expressions are very limited.

  • ...Really? I always wondered why in every other Battle Network game I played the SubMemories let you hold up to 7 of each but only 6 in BN3. I never knew about that spot in the armor.

    Really.

  • Are you going to use NCP Compression Codes and/or show the ones as you use them?

  • Hey. I hope I'm not parroting other commenters when I say this, but don't metal panels make electricity twice as effective in this game, or is it just later titles?

  • 11:42 Lion wantz Lion cash!

  • (Haha at Lan getting Ninja Gaiden'd in the face. That's what you get for trying to rescue Chisao.)

Wow, knowing that programs in this world are basically sentinent makes that alarm situation rather depressing.

On a lighter note, yeah, Tamako & MetalMan's visual designs look quite great. I was also surprised to realize how quickly this game is moving with regards to terrain too. In this video alone you saw three new ones--I literally chuckled when I saw that the poor alarm had lava panels.

  • The zookeeper is using chips to control the animals...

  • 14:54 Are you sure that condor isn't a Pipi?

  • birds... evil? sounds like somebody has been hanging out with GLADoS...

  • @SyfeKS Birds have always been evil. Pipis in Mega Man 2, the ravens in Ghosts 'n Goblins, the eagles in Ninja Gaiden, the list goes on.

  • why didnt you equip the metalman chip

  • @Pegasus09871 Mainly, I forgot. Fear not however, I did equip it and use it a few times during the Zoo network.

  • @RoahmMythril

Your awasome roahmmyrhil have a nice afternoon noon dude.

  • 14:40

Chisao looks like he was murdered. :P

  • Apparently that couple at the zoo are taking a vacation from Rimuldar.

  • You can jack into the lion's head at the hot spring

  • @Altadorian1 Not at this point in the game unfortunately.

  • Panda girl never fails to amuse me.

  • The Zookeeper? Quick, someone call the New Justice Team!

  • i don't think the condor was evil i think it just didn't like chasao and wanted to drop him off a pole can you blame the thing

  • I never knew Japan had pandas. I guess I don't know anything about Japan unless I go there.

  • @0TrainerKen It's a zoo. I doubt Japan has Giraffes or elephants, either

  • I can confirm that yes some type chips can break the gears. I use a certain Grass-Type Navi (wont spoil for anyone who hasnt played and watching this for the first time) who shows up later in the game's chip and it manages to destroy the gear on MetalMan's side but not my own.

  • Uh...Panda's are not actually bears, game. They are more closely related to, of all things, racoons.

  • Dex, no! You should never look a gorilla right in the eyes, they hate that!

  • Something tells me this so-called zookeeper is a W W W agent!

  • @DullBones I think it's the guy that said that he'll destroy "what Wily hates the most", love

  • Two mind-control plots in the same game? Really, Capcom?

  • Does the AntiDmg chip have any drawbacks? It seems really overpowered for just being a lone chip...and you just bought it at a early game shop! XD

  • @RSCNyx Nope, it's just awesome like that.

  • Drawback is probably the chip code. Hard to combine with stuff. Arguably it's also hard to time correctly. In all truth, no. The drawbacks are non existent based on how powerful it is.

  • @RSCNyx It's only a 1 time use, so it's not overwhelmingly powerful. It is a good chip early on, though.

  • @RSCNyx Indeed it has no real drawbacks, which is why it was nerfed in subsequent games.

  • I bet that metalman's chip does 2x damage to himself x3

  • Ura Inn? Isn't the Undernet called Ura Net in the japanese version?

  • Why yes it is. I wonder if that hints at anything *wiggly mysterious fingers*

  • So, put a chip in a fish and you get...Fish and Chips!

    That was bad.

  • Hey Roahm, didn't you pick up Air Shoes earlier? How do you use those?

  • @OmegaGameDude AirShoes are used as a chip in battle, and they make it so you can move over certain panel types without causing their effects, such as not breaking cracked panels.

  • i think i heard somewhere that airshot plus sand equals extra damage. any comments lord dragon?

  • @Wanderingsage7 Hm, I'm actually not sure? I know some panel types changed in later games, gaining new effects and such. Maybe it was in a later game? It could well be in this one too and I just don't know it.

  • @RoahmMythril Actually, it's not AirShot but the Fan chip that lets you deal damage with Sand tiles (which then become normal panels).

On a different note entirely, I remember there were a bunch of input codes to shave off a square in NaviCust to fit more programs in. Do you plan on using them?

  • @RoahmMythril It is in this game. Just not airshot but the Tornado/Typhoon/whatever you wanna call them chips. Using those on sand boosts the damage if my memory hasn't failed me.

  • wow... metalman has missiles now? imagine that on megaman 2 O.O

  • MONKEY!!!!!!!

  • @potatogy BaBomb?!

  • He put mind control chips into the animals and most of the keepers didn't know? Why is he controlling animals, that guy could make a fortune just from selling his insta-heal surgery process =p

  • Thank you so much for doing this playthrough Roahm. This is the first in the Battle Network series that I ever played after watching the anime and it makes me smile to know someone out there is giving it a fighting chance.

  • Actually... Take a closer look at when you hit him with airshot. While he doesn't have a flinching animation... He doesn't have any other animation either (except for the booster on his back). Normally, when idle he floats up and down, but airshot stops that.

One other thing, I'm unsure whether he has tomahawkman's status guard. So if he's vulnerable to confusion, stunning/paralysis or whatever else I'm not sure.

  • All I got to say about this part is well...shit, and an unhealthy obsession with that

  • 12:37, COME ON roahm, you're a dragon, you shouldn't be scared of a lion x3

  • in the bath the lion head is a jack in point there is nothing other then that now

  • Is that a Pokeball on metal Man???

  • the flamingo and hippo cage pannel you can jack in to

  • Day 3 of Playing Megaman, Hey look it's a SSoH reference

  • 14:42 awww they look so cute. the annoying Chisao and the evil bird... perfect couple!

  • 20 seconds in that is why i press r next to everything in these games
