I reckon Linden Station is the best station to take these typrs of train videos. The curved south bound platform makes the magic !

As I understand it, "E" = "electric', and "O" = Otira, in other words, these locomotives were once used in the Otira tunnel. I read somewhere that the original EOs were replaced in 1969 with EAs but the EO label stuck.......

Nice touch getting the different angles on the EOs (or is it really EA?)
Kiwirail seem to have painted "EO" on the side so I went with that :-)
