@kel2442: while there is no denying the fact that his material was written by Pharcyde, one cannot deny the fact the BRIAN GREEN had the ability to perform the track and make it sound GOOD. Perhaps even the gents at Pharcyde felt he had talent worth developing.
This was definately a DOPE song. It didn't get the play that it should have. I mean, listen to that FLOW! And the beat is nice and smooth. He should definately re-release this one. Anybody know where I can get this on mp3?
This is a true representation of how rap has declined. This dude was considered average at best in 96, but today, he'd be one of the better dudes in the game. Shame.
Fuck Time Magazine for saying he was one of the people who shouldn't rap. He is better than 70% of rappers that are out today. That flow is on point. This dudes sick
@JohnLawrenceCobraKai LURK MOAR PRICK, AND LEARN ABOUT REAL HIPHOP WHILE YOUR MOM SUCKS COCKS IN HELL.... 90S BABIES NO NADA ABOUT REAL HIPHOP. THEY RAISED OFF LIL WAYNE AND GUCE MANE. 80S BABYS WAS RAISED OFF TUPAC AND BIGGIE - YOU SLUT HOE
What up youtube fam. This is dope I've hated on David Silver....this cat had skills. It's better than the little retard soulja boy and gucci mane. I will continue to bump this.
han er for cool den bedste sang han synger er klart i beverly hills 90210 som david silver der synger han sangen: - keep it together som i serien er sunget til donna martin
they need to stop hatin on brian green saying that he was a wigga trying to rap and all that and just go ahead and give him his props. my man was flowing and that's just straight up. i didn't hate on him in 96 when this joint dropped and i never hated on him since.
I liked this song. I think that if he was given a chance, he could have been successful. It was only because he was on Beverly Hills that prevented that from happening. The song has a nice beat and melody to it. Plus his lyrical flow was great. He has a great delievery.
When he dropped this I couldn't get past the fact that he was on 90210. Now that I am older I realize that this was a CRAZY HOT record! I don't know what I was thinking back in the day!
@vinnyblaq yeah, i knew he was from 90201 but when i saw this joint on bet, i still had to go ahead and give him his props. i thought the shit was off the chain in 96 when it dropped and that feeling still has not changed in 2010. the muthafucka was flowing for real!
@Rozyonnie I agree that the production is good. The lyrics and the rapping are terrible. Just because rap today sucks doesn't make this good. Look at what else was around when this dude's vanity project came out.
@cashberg the rap sucks? Are you serious! His delivery is very similar to that of those cats from "The Pharcyde". How can you hate on it? You can't be a true fan of hip-hop
@vinnyblaq I don't agree. As someone who cut their teeth on hip-hop in back '86 with Boogie Down Productions, then moving on to Public Enemy, Tribe, Pharcyde, Mos Def, and others, I find Brian Austin Green to be a tiresome listen. The production sounds like Pharcyde, because Slim Kid 3 did production on this record, but I think Pharcyde has this beat by miles in terms of the rapping.
@cashberg if Pharcyde gave Brian their stamp of approval by working with him, and you claim to like the Pharcyde, I really don't understand why you are hating on him so bad. Brian's delivery is good, and his lyrics tell a paint a picture that most everyone can relate to
Dude. What the hell. This is not the shit album it was made out to be.. I've heard this guy's try was garbage but I dig the flow and the production is very good. Jazz roots hiphop yo
the jazz mix is just a little bit more fresher than the original but it's good to see him getting love. this was a great album.

And he was able to bag Tiffani Amber Thiessen, Vanessa Marcil, and Megan Fox in their primes.
