I've been listening to Iris for years now and I think she's awesome. She's the closest most original voice when compared to someone like Kitty Wells. rickmystic is right, it is a bouzouki and Donal is famous for playing it, same musical family though Mr Freereed player. This series was fantastic and better than series two that somehow gets repeated on sky TV.

I believe that there was a petition to reshow it, I guess there must be contractual problems because of all the performers involved, I still have my vhs copies of some of the shows but they are worn to the bone.
