Brilliant. I bought the seven inch single of this back in 1990. This is the "vision mix", which was the b-side - this version had the Italo-house piano running thru the chorus.
From what I see, there's clips from 3 Gerry Anderson shows; Thunderbirds, Stingray and Captain Scarlet (arguably his finest Supermarionation show).
Most of the clips are from Thunderbirds (all the 'FAB' stuff). The 'Anything can happen', and submarine stuff is from Stingray and the 'SIG', 'Mysteron' and 'Spectrum Is Green' clips are from Captain Scarlet.
All these shows hold up as nostalgia, but IMO, Captain Scarlet holds up by any standard (amazing show, check it out)!
If you liked this, you'll also like 'Stingray Megamix' and you'll love 'Mysteron Rap' (also on YouTube now).
In fact, the 18 year-old 'Mysteron Rap' video makes a great trailor for the Captain Scarlet series (which I bought on the recent DVD release after seeing The Myseron Rap).
This same Telstar PowerThemes 90 project remade a number of popular / unique British TV show themes, like The Avengers and the Prisoner. Sure would like to see a CD release (or DVD of their videos).
Good news is, if watch the entire run of Thunderbirds and find yourself wanting more, there's a TON more from the team -- and they're all as interesting and fun to watch.
Enjoy!
To close out with The Thunderbird's 'Gerry Andersonism'...
