What a brilliant colour, THE correct colour for this period. My father owned one of these around 1961/62, I have a feeling that the A99 took the 2639 ccm3 C-Series from the predecessor A90 (90 bhp SAE), the A110 (with the same Farina bodywork) then used the bigger 2912 ccm3 shared with the "Big Healey".
Had one of these in the early '70's . 3 on the Tree +Free Wheeling Overdrive. Thirsty engine, but gas was 39 cents/ imp gallon then. Would cruise nicely at 80 MPH in Overdrive.
