The cutest parts for me aren't even in the song... Gosalyn's little "hem hem" is ADORABLE to the max and then Darkwing's "Good night Gosalyn" is just... oooh, just paternal and thus I love it.

Everything about the pilot was great, even the song; "Justice Ducks Unite" had ruined everything, so no matter how tempted you are, no matter how touching this is, do not compare Gosalyn to Morgana, or you will undo everything she's worked for!

Thanks so much for posting this! Darkly Dawns the Duck is my favorite pilot of any Disney Afternoon show, primarily because of the focus on Darkwing and Gosalyn and how their relationship forms, and this scene is the real key on which that hinges. It's not only a great moment but it's a great Disney moment in the spirit of their classics. Thank you so much! This scene needs more attention!
