@Muzicsoulrhythm Check out /watch?v=ZrzMe-7W8hU at 0:20. This is a great tutorial from Suga Pop on Locking, taught by Greg Campbellock Jr. -- RIP! -- one of the original Lockers! I got it wrong too actually, lol, it's the scootbot. But notice it's not just the legs; the pace, wrist roll, and slap in the back are all part of the move. Thanks for being open to criticism. I think its best to find someone to teach you correctly before you start teaching!

Nice breakdown. But there is no such thing as a scuba in locking. It's the Scoo-Bot Hop. It's important to make sure you're not misrepresenting the dance!

Thank you :) I've been wanting to try locking. So ive only started to dance for about a month now (well other than swing dancing lol), and ive mostly been focusing on tutting and popping. I like how you not only teach so efficiently, but the fact that you are teaching a video like this shows that you know the roots of hip hop. You remind me of Twitch (from SYTYCD) in regards that you both have that inner spirit of true and authentic hip hop. Many people see the new styles of hip hop and dive straight in without trying to brush up on the basics and the roots of where the newer styles originated. Thanks for keepin it real!
