I think it's unfair that if Kavaguti/Smirnov withdraw from Europeans, the spot will go to Stol/Klimov. Mart/Rog had no GP assignments and no chance to get on the Season's best list, while S/K had two chances already. I'm disappointed they'll get a third by way of dishonest PCS scoring while M/R have none. Take away S/K's nonsensical 3.53 point PCS boost (0.92 + 2.61) and M/R would have the silver medal.

how do you know there will be no GP assignmens for Martiusheva/Rogonov this season ?

although they will not be competing in europeans/worlds but they are still alternates

but I agree with you, M/R was robbed of the silver medal , giving S/K higher PCS was

a JOKE, lol. and I believe M/R will fare better at international comp. this season

@fashionfgurl18 I meant this past season they had no GP assignments. Next season, who knows, perhaps they can be 'host picks' at Cup of Russia if they're lucky. (But I doubt they'll get a second GP because they're not on the 2011-12 season's best list.)

I think B/L and M/R are the future of russian pairs - and a bright one it is... i wish i could smoosh them into one pair - B/L's lines and hard-won maturity with M/R's spark

I found a New Favorite Young Pair . :D

they glide through ice gracefully, more improvements on transitions and technicality

are needed in the future but their perfect pairing and the potentials are already there.
