You might want to have a little intro or better info in the blurb as to what you're trying to accomplish. At least you're doing drills, something I have very rarely seen in SCA "combat".
oh haha, my 5 year old nephew doesn't do that, we were playing star wars stuff and he got aggressive, and he never makes eye contact with me while fighting, always looking at his shadow or reflection and stuff, if you live in san diego you could teach him about eye contact cause he doesn't listen
Clearly you don't realize that every serious sport (like heavy fighting or rapier or FOOTBALL) has drills and practice moves done before the battle (or the game) over and over in order to ameliorate the performances of the athletes. This was a drill for heavy fighters in the SCA. If you don't find that people in full armour fighting in medieval styles are "interesting" enough, then feel free to go back to rolling your dice, using your hotkeys in WoW, & pretending to be what we really are.

do you have to make eye contact with your opponent when you engage in a swordfight

I usually do, and a lot of other fighters I know do also, but there are some who don't for various reasons. :)

do you have a question that can be written more clearly? Or did you get lost looking for KISS videos?

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Do you have a hobbie more interesting? Or are you making up sports for fun?
