It has nothing to do with the water! The Naval station has been dumping excess fuel over the town, for a LONG time. That will never be proved, though, because the Govt. would be liable. Even though, they "say" that they don't do it, anymore. You can still smell jet fuel in certain parts of Fallon. Another thing, is that most of the children, were military families. They almost all moved to Fallon, from another Naval base.
The night manager here told me about another tenant , 51 years old, dying of cancer, good outlook, said that he grew up in Ely, Nevada and they used to watch the mushroom clouds down by Las Vegas and he would ask his mother if it was okay to play in the dirt as it glowed in the dark; she said it was okay. "
"Commission officials seemed surprised when a few days following the tests, they received reports of radioactive snow
I moved to Fallon when I was 6 and moved from there 200 when I was 27. And not one of my friends or class mates ever got cancer. They sure like to throw the term "caner ring" around. There's one in daton and a few in southern Nevada too. But they can't blame the Navy and do class action suits for those so they aren't as important I guess.
I know that this is sad and it affected a bunch of people. but its the water im from fallon and it had to do with the water. RIP to all who fought the good fight and you can win to all of those who are still fighting
Living in Fallon isn't that bad. I lived there when I was 2 and moved when I was 6.
