Get a new diffuser, they do work, yours must have been screwed up, there are other videos posted that shows it works very well. I wish K40 had posted their test .
I have a K40 with diffuser. I never got a ticket & the system consistently identifies threats FAR in advance. Here in NYC and LI the cops and troopers don't use any laser so it is the radar which is important to me but many trips up the east coast also identify threats and show no cops up north or northeast use laser either. Maybe it's a different story out west but it's a good buy for the money here. Good integration.
Interesting that Other companies recommend 4 jamming heads on a vehicle that size. I haven't used my K40 in a while due to the new laser guns out. Knowing this I did call the company a while back, and they will upgrade the firmware for the new guns. When i did use it a couple years ago it worked GREAT. As you saw briefly with the LA non stealth mode it did jam. A firmware upgrade to handle that and you are set. But honestly how good do you think 1 head would work on that SUV.
Actually the Laser Atlanta is Stealth mode is just slower to acquire speed readings the only thing it briefly jammed was the Stalker LZ-1 which displayed E-04

They will sue anyone that shows the true performance of their shitty products! If they performed as advertised they would have no problems with people testing them.

I don't sell jammers! I am a consumer that was deciding between and Escort SR7 or K40 from my dealer and I did alittle research and found many bad things about the K40. I wonder why K40 has refused to send any of there detectors to a recent test done my Speed Measurement Labs. Every other company sends a detector or two? I also was given a comparison between one of the test drive cars with a K40 and the dealers SR7. the Sr7 work much better than the K40.
K40, when did you purchase the K40? I know they changed the design, although I suspect it's still a P.O.S.

Judging from the post where i found this videoa long time ago this was bought in 2005 and was part of the newest K40 Calibre wireless bluetooth set up. All K40 really did was use bluetooth hookups on their old system and updated their webiste
To those that think this video was staged. I recently found out that The E 04 error code with the Stalker LZ1 that occur at 3:13 was the jammer code on the laser gun. That means that the K40 laser defuser what trying to jam but unfortunately failed
There are other videos on Youtube showing other laser jammers like the laser pro park, Anti-Laser, Blinder, Escort Zr3 working so I assume they work as described. Nothing performs as bad as the K40 in all the video's i have seen
