@peiboOooo No it will not. I guess it will be playable on 'medium', because this is a 'mid range' card. I suggest a hd 6870 (only about 20 pounds more), a hd 6950, (for 200 pounds if u want to pay a bit more). I really like the Nvidia cards ( geforce gtx 460 for mid range and the geforce gtx 560 ti for mid - high range ), in my opinion they are smaller, are less big and perform kinda the same. So, yeah the HD 6950 and the GTX 560 TI I recommend. Its a bit confusing but that is how it is :)

ATI Radeon is the GPU (the main chip on the card). ATI does not make the whole card, they only make the GPU. So to answer you question. Nothing. The card is made by Gigabyte, The GPU on the card is made by ATI.

@Osvah94 Get a MSI, Gigabyte, or Asus. 890 series chipset with an AM3 socket (or other 800 series but 890 preferably). Not BioStar though, cause I had a bad experience with it and so did a lot of people.

I have a MSI 890GXM-G65 with a HD 5850 and a Phenom x6. I would recommend it, MSI makes very good hardware and it's user friendly. And the 890 supports future CPU upgrades beyond 6-core. But that's just personal experience. Go for whichever one sounds the best.

I have a question i hope you can help me with. My corsair 650w power supply only has 2 6 pin connectors and i need 2 for this 5850 card and i will need 1 for my motherboard. Now i know that it comes with 2 2x4pin to 6 pin adapters with it but then the xfx quick install guide says not to use adapters like that. So im confused if i can or cannot use the adapters on this card can you please help me. I need another 6 pin pci express connector

@kkleinknight well the motherboards connector have nothing to do with the pci-e conectors. the pci-e conectors are for the graphics card. the motherboards conectors are usually an 24 pin main connector and an 4 or 8 pin vonnector for the cpu. the think that u should be worring is if ur power suply can support this graphics card and the other components of ur computer. u understand what i mean ? if u have any question ask me and if i can i will help u! good luck man.

I would get an XFX card. I have owned an HIS 5870, and currently an XFX 5870. Both are great looking and great quality, but XFX has a double life time warranty, and the HIS has a 2 year warranty. Double life time meaning when you sell the card that person will also have a warranty, this increases resale value.

With some cards yes. In this case, a 5850 and a 5870 can be crossfired. However i believe both cards will use the lower clock speeds of the two.

@drunkenjudgement To play flash games u do not even need a dedicated graphics card. You could either have a Motherboard that has built in graphics or a CPU that has a built in GPU. Both would easily play flash games! Though if you are looking for a dedicated cheap, yet powerful GPU that runs most new games in high specs then the ATI Radeon 5850 is a grat choice!

It depends on the brand of the card etc, Mine is made by xfx. The game is in a token card form, It was 15 gigs to download my free game.. The port covers are useful lol or else they wouldn't put them on there you can get paper, foam, dirt etc anything inside those ports then the card will not work right and then the brand owner will have to take a hit in money to send you another... so yeah they work and are on there for a reason.
