@rikmeter Again, it doesn't actually sound like Picard. Don't get me wrong, the guy does a good job, as you say he's better than most Kirk-wanabees.

But Patrick Stewart is from Yorkshire, and while he sounds much posher than the regular man in the street up there, it still affects his accent enough that he doesn't sound like he's from London - or somewehere nearby in the south (which is where it sounds like Giles is from).
