This is a good tutorial. Other tutorials don't show the index finger position as well or how to change the hole and chamber.

The other thing you can change to try and get the right sound is the angle of the airflow and the strength of the airflow but you can't really show that well on a video.

I'm going to keep working on this, it's kind of fun even if it makes you a bit dizzy. Thanks!

i can do it, just not right of the bat. i have to work maybe five minutes until i get a hoot and then when i take my hands from my face and try again, i repeat the process all over again.

lol my friend just told me to put my hands together with no holes and i figured it out my self in a day or 2 i put my hands together like im clapping so you feel suction between your hands then curl my fingers down so they grab my hands then pull them apart and move my thumbs together then blow into them like he did then i move the fingers on my outside hand to change the pitch idk if this helps anyone but gl

@jjayeeee i dont get that either. its easiest to learn if you know how to make sound by blowing into a glass bottle. then the only thing u have 2 do is learn how to position your hands right, and u just keep going till it makes a sound. just keep trying!!

i noe dis is a weird but i think i cant do this bcuz t have 2 different palm prints and one of them doesnt have a palm print that splits the air to make the sound so im physically incapible of making the whistle ;[

this helped ALOT! all the other videos were ok but i finally learned how to do it with this video. when i was trying it out, i found out it was much easier to blow when you moved your hand slightly up instead of putting your hands straight forward AND it helps if you look straight ahead and don't look down when your trying it out. hope this helps anybody new!
