@Taureny not really. if you didnt play or know of this time in the game, TF was extremely OP for about 4 months from his release (he was released in march, this video is from May). he was about 3 times as powerful as he is now. go look on Solomid.net, im sure they have all the details.

i am not critisizing the player for being bad, im just saying that picking TF = instant win back then.

Check his skills. He doesn't have Gate as a unique ability separate from Destiny, and Destiny isn't a GLOBAL slow.

He wasn't over powered then, he's basically the same TF he is now when this video was created - except his ratios are higher now. Get your info straight.

AP TF all day every day :D Full AP runes + Doran's = 50 AP at level 1 followed by a quick lich bane and Mejai's = YUSSSSS. Throw in a Zhonya's and 3 speed boots and you've got the recipe for a perfect game. Bake for 15 minutes, cool and serve.

I have tried AP tf with the normal lichbane goodness, its just the fact that he needs an uber team to work.

I'm not sure in which patch this was played but AP TF suffered a massive nerf. all the AP ratings went down the drain so now going with AP is very lackluster. TF is still a very strong champion, and I guess AP can still work if you manage to snowball with Mejai's and enough MPen, but it's still suboptimal compared to AD/AS. no matter which path you take, in late game team fights TF is relegated to being a gold card spammer, AD/AS at least gives you something useful to do during the downtimes...

Not sure if this is before the nerf patch but ever since I've played twisted fate I have owned every AP twisted fate with mine. This champion is still way over powered and few know it. Hopefully it stays that way b/c a nerf should be on the way. A good twisted fate should frustrate who ever versus mid and then see a change up from another lane 3 min. in.
