  • Met Billy in late '77 when he played with Piper. Loved his songs but he was stuck up.

  • Billy is the man !!!

  • lo mejor del rock and roll ke he escuchado

  • Such a wonderful song ... old 80s.

  • I am just discovering Billy Squier and he f'ing rocks!

  • Loved him since I was 13 - many many moons ago - He can revert me to a squealing 13 year old in seconds.

  • If Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, Angus and Malcolm Young had an orgy and a child was bore from that, it's name would be Billy Squire.

  • so many great videos TY

  • My very first concert was Billy Squire opening for Queen. THAT was a fucking show...

I feel bad for young people today because all of their "music" sucks big hairy moose cock.

  • @DocFlamingo

Actually the cock wouldn't be hairy, only the area around it and maybe the balls. Besides, I hear moose shave their privates. HA!

  • @DocFlamingo I also saw that show, saw Van Halen two days before, didn't pay 20 bucks for both tickets. Those were the days.

  • My very first concert was Billy Squire opening for Queen.

I feel bad for young people today because all of their "music" sucks big hairy moose cock.

  • Buenos tiempos

  • ....the art of survival, isn't gettin' me down..." SQUIER IS THE BEST !!!

  • was this when he opened for Triumph on their Never Surrender tour?

  • @buzzcrushtrendkill actually Ratt opened for Squier here, 1984 tour.

  • 3 people thought this all night long porno video

  • the man can sing !

  • yea but look mwhat crak does so sad

  • God, to come of age at that time was "tops"! IT WAS A GREAT TIME TO BE ALIVE,YA'LL!!

  • How could anyone not love Billy Squire. Theres' just something about his music that just give your body a crazy sensation and you can't help your actions when he's on. You can't sit still and be quiet. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE

  • This was the first video of his released after the superstar ending travesty of a video that was Rock Me Tonite. It was meant to remind people that he was a real and proper rocker - it was a great video and an even better song, but it didn't quite have the intended effect.

  • Loved Billy in the '80...still love him! Mercury of Queen was such a positive influence on his music and general style. I was so lucky to have been a teen/20-something during this period of music and was able to see him in concert a few times.

  • 3 people do not know REAL music

  • Ace!

  • Yep 1983..the year I will never forget!! Billy Squier and Ratt - partied after the show with them. The fun memories never fade. To be 17 again and having to fake I was 18 and realizing I was wearing my class ring that was quickly transfered to the purse.

  • Wow, this is a blast fro mmy past. This live concert footage was filmed at the Philadelphia Spectrum in Sept. of 1983. I was there and briefly shown in the overhead camera crowd shot. Great gig, Ratt opened as I recall...good times.

  • My dad was supposively best friends with bills brothers back in wellesly ma. I also agree one of the most under rated boston bands ever

  • @Dhoylandrules84 I don't entirely agree.

In Boston, the big four are Aerosmith, Boston, The Cars, and The J Geils Band.

At no 5 is clearly Billy Squier.

Then we have Extreme, Godsmack, Bobby Brown, etc.

  • @Dhoylandrules84 Billy doesn't have any brothers. He is an only child.

  • @Dhoylandrules84 FYI: Billy was, and presumably always will be, an only child

  • Yeah that was in 1984, I had just learned to drive and went to see him at the Forum in L.A. and Ratt did open for him. Ratt was good but BS owned them that night.

  • PROBABLY ONE OF BOSTONS MOST UNDER RATED BANDS.

    ALONG WITH.....................

    FARRENHEIT

    JON BUTCHER

    ELLIS ISLAND

    NEW ENGLAND

    AND LOVELACE!

THESE BANDS RULED THE CLUB SCENE IN THE 70'S AND EIGHTY'S

SEE IT WASN'T ALL PUNK AND DISCO!!!!

  • This was around 1984..Ratt opened up on this tour..I went to see Ratt but Squier blew them off stage..Billy broke a few ribs that night humping the stage "true story"...

  • @camaro8782 agreed; huge ratt fan myself, so i went to see them live. became a big squier fan after that

  • I love u Billy.....u are real music....God Bless u....come back....

  • I was at this concert back in the late 70's in Philly! Awesome concert...camera panned right over top of us. Billy rocked us out! I hate getting older...the new music just doesn't have it....

  • @kristablu28 show was in80's

  • @kristablu28 1984 was when this was.

  • I was at the filming of this video in the second row. It was filmed at The Spectrum in Philly. I remember he played the song twice. One time was live and then they said they were gonna do it again and lip-sync to the song. Those were the days. Long Live The 80's!!!!

  • He's such a great "hook" writer.

  • Saw these guys in Tulsa in 1991. Very good show, loved it..

  • Makes my Top Ten All-Time rockers list. Awesome Stuff

Today, I like Billy Squier songs more than say Led Zepplin ones, shocking!

The proof is in the pudding. When you don't get tired of it, ever, after 30 thirty years

    You have a winner!!!

  • Don't u wanna live?

  • Gotta love Billy Squier

  • Bravo Squier...Bravo XD

  • One of the best rock and roll voices of all time! Steve Marriott..... Freddie ... Plant..

    They make me tingle <3

  • DAYUM, he was my very first concert when I was 14 years old (I still have the ticket stub, it was like $13.50!!! lmao, times have changed!)..I was showing my 10 year old daughter last night, and now I feel officially old! lol!! Ratt opened back then in 1984, but when Billy came out the crowd went NUTS!!! LOVE Billy!!!

  • @mpdsmom My first concert was in 1974 (Deep Purple) and was $4.75 if you can believe it!!!

  • WOWSA!!! I've seen Deep Purple also at the same arena I saw Billy at (Worcester MA Centrum) and they were amazing!! But the tickets sure were not that cheap!!! lol!!!! But I should't complain either, I didn't pay for them!!! ;) Yet I cannot fathom concert tickets being that low in price, MAN!!!

  • yeah, it was pretty cool! When I was a teen going to concerts was my major pastime. I remember how we all bitched when the price went up to about $7 or $8, LOL, but still, I went to just about every concet that came to town. At that time Pittsburgh was a big stop on the tour routes. Not a MAJOR one, yet many of he big names came here or close enough to get to for a teen on a tigt curfew

  • dude was that 1991? if so i was there. your comment made me look at my old ticket stubs. what's that place called now? it's a new name every couple years. i can't remember who opened for them and my ticket stub was too faded

  • @sellingon Funny you say that, i have his greatest hits cd in my vette right now hahaha

  • squier music always makes me wanna DRIVE FAST !! not a good thing to listen to in the car ;)

  • Squier= REAL TALENT!!!!!!!!

  • I LOVE BILLY SQUIER

i think im one of the very few younger people that actually like this kind of music

  • love the chick at 1:21-1:23 mmmm hmmmm!!!!!

  • MISS YOU BOBBY

  • Dude! I never knew he could shred that well!

  • I enjoy the guitar solo from about 3:17 with added beachball kick at 3:34 for fun!

  • Hell yeah SQUIER ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love his hair!

  • Rock forever Yeah!!!!!!!!!!

  • What a HOT rocker!!! Billy & the guys are always GREAT!!!!

  • WOW, what memories, This was the first concert I ever went to. 1984 signs of life tour, Ratt opened up! Blossom Music Center Akron Ohio!

  • DAMN ...Pine Knob...June 1984..Ratt opened..and I had 3rd row seats

  • Funny you were there. Although I wasn't, I worked with a girl in Auburn Hills during 88-90. She was one of two 16 year old girls who ran onto the stage and grabbed Bily Squier. They got thrown out.

  • This was my second concert I ever went to. I had seen Ratt just a few months before and then Billy Squier came to Carbondale, IL to play the SIU Arena. I was a freshman so it had to be late 1984 or early 1985. This was the opening song.

  • @ledzep000001:

i have no idea what the hell youre saying here

  • ....I get out ...I run through the streets like a tiger....ooh let it out ...I swing like a bird on a wire... SQUIER IS THE BEST!!!!!!

  • 166... this song f'ing rocks. Actually it speaks to much of the problems created by fauxsama and his ilk

  • It was so great to see Billy on tour this summer, sounding as good as ever. Rock on, Billy Squier!!! His true fans know what a talent he is.

  • so he is still kickass? good. cuz my dad is trying to get tickets so me, him and my bro can go see him on the 30th.

  • As a general rule you should go see anybody your dad likes if he's into Billy Squier. The old rockers who are still on tour are better than seeing anything current.

  • lol he can take me to any concert he wants. he was able to get the tickets so ima go to the concert wednesday. we arent that far away from the stage. i love a bunch of the current stuff, but theres somethin about older music that always gets me.

  • Billy Squier was and is such a talent, great voice, great guitar player. I liked all songs off this album, remember getting it in 1984 when it came out. As a rock music fan I especially appreciated Billy's videos, being about the music and showing him on stage with the band. Very different from a lot of other rock videos in the 1980's.

  • ..then he killed it with "Rock Me Tonite"

  • This is a great video, like the begining with shots of Billy's face and then the audience. Another straight up rock song, such good music and vocals. He can sing and play guitar. mcmahls, interesting question. I've been huge fan of both, more Billy with more body of work. Unfortunately I don't think Tommy made many solo albums(only know of one.) So being a fan of Styx or Damn Yankees can influence vote for him.Love both voices, very different but both rock.

  • Awesome Tune.....Billy S. Rocks!!!!!

  • Who has the better "Rock-N-Roll" voice? Tommy Shaw or Billy Squier?

  • Billy doesn't need hair!!!

  • Great Video from 1984.That tour he was on top of the world. Seen him many times thru the years.Always a solid performace

  • i got to meet him few yrs back in his dressing room and back stage his hair is short now...seemed stuck up

  • Well, I met him recently and he was anything but stuck-up. He was a true gentleman, and a nice guy. Kind of a quiet personality, but really cool. Other people I met at the shows who also talked to him echoed my sentiments. His wife is super nice, too.

  • I'd had the pleasure of meet him once too. I'd have to say my impression was the same as yours; a regular nice guy.

  • Billy Squier Rocks !!

  • Thank you for this video, it is one of my favs ! Rock on Mr. Squier ! I am a child of MTV in the 80's and miss these days as there have never been any better ! Billy Squier, thank you so much for all your fantastic music. Please come to South Carolina !

  • This is such a great video thanks for posting it. Quick Adrenaline Rush=this song in the cd in the car cranked. Billy is awsome

  • Squier is great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I wish I could play guitar well enough to kick a ball off a stage while doing a killer solo like he does at 3:34

  • this is REAL music!!!!! thanks Billy!!!

  • The memories of the f** video were too strong at the time of this video (the second single of this album). When it came out not even this performance video could cleanse the image of ... well... Oh what the hell. Billy ROCKS. Still... oh dude that video ...

  • Dude as everu should know purple pants ruled in the 80's so technically if you wore what your wearing now back in his day you would be shunned for being a loser. *0's RULE

  • Thanks zinfanus, this is a truly great song, perhaps Billy's opus, if you will. He was at the height of his considerable powers when this album came out. I'm glad to hear he's doing well from sampling royalties, he was a real class act and a gentleman from all I've read.

  • Exactly!!! Squier is the best!!!!!

  • I Love This Song Billy Squire Is great.

  • with then=m you look like a fag

  • :37 kinda like Stallone from Rambo 2!!! Squier is the best!!!!!!!!

  • melted in the 80's too

  • All I can say is you're right, edwardprzdzial...Squier was one of the few that made the 80s fun - not to mention a whole lot of people jealous that they didn't live back then!

  • 00:37 Stallone!!!!!!

  • c'mon.......where are you

  • yep thats right!!!

  • kick ass tune ty for sharing!!! i love squier!

  • billy made the 80's fun and he was greatly underestimated as a performer and an excellent guitarist.

  • Groovy - I totally forgot about this song! hehe

  • this is still a awesome song

  • great song I forgot about this song

  • Squier did the solo to this song!!!! Brian May did the solo to "Another 1984" which is on this same album Signs Of Life TRUE Squier fans will know this!!!

  • I got my info about who played what from the liner notes of Reach For The Sky-the Anthology he put out a few years ago. Capitol records put pressure on him to change the credits around so it didn't sound like Queen. That is from Squier himself. I'm right.

  • On the recording the solo is done by Brian May...This entire record is good...if you can find it

  • Dude, if you read the notes from the Signs of Life c.d. Brian May only did the solo to "Another 1984" do your home work...thanks

  • i bought the album and the shirt the same day thanks for posting

  • Billy n a Les Paul Junior...cool.

I still always expect to see a Telecaster in his hands...

  • This entire record was great...this was also when he brought Def Leppard on tour with him.

  • that would have been an awesome show!

  • billy squier should have gained so much more attention from the easily swayed public!!!!

  • cool
