While dan wineski is the issue of the video. The real issue is how did he become such a monster? The cops, lawyers, and townspeople that covered for him!! The hundreds that chose not to report his crimes or speak to the agents that arrested him. Dan wasn't born that evil, he was created by the city of whitehall. Think about that!! He should have been stopped in the early 80's when larry estenson and the sheriff's deparment got their first complaints. For 20 years those in power hid his crimes.

I am sorry to everyone who has been hurt and is still hurting because of him...my father. This is something I live with every single day of my life. @scottyboland Anyone from whitehall aka Scumtown that says they didn't know about Wineski is either lying or lived a life of total recluse. I lived there and stories abounded!!The police chief called these stories and complaints "rumors" and did nothing as did the sheriff's department.This video is not a mockery but the closest thing to the truth that has ever come out. The truth is far less flattering to the cops!

As a matter of public record Wineski was only cherged with 1 sexual assault. However hundreds of other accusations were made that the state did not act on or the statute of limitations had passed. For his sentencing 35 people wrote letters of support for Wineski. Larry Estenson and most if not all of the Trempealeau county sheriffs Dept. admitted to hearing "rumors" about Dan. But did nothing to stop him. Now had those same "rumors" been about an underage drinking party certain action would have been taken. If a cop hears about sexual assault of minors, it is not a rumor. Official complaints can be made verbally.

As a matter of public record it was Dale Lyngen that sat in the squad with Wineski while he spied on girls with bino's. ( I wonder if Dale told him to stop or asked for his turn with the bino's) Deputy Paul Loesel knew about Wineski masturbating in Kwik Trip back in 1988 when it happened but didn't tell the state until the day of sentencing 9 months after the arrest. (this was in the candy aisle) He also masturbated there in 1992 but that was in a surveilance closet .
