  • all-star talent

  • still think he couold have been better than tim duncan. feel that duncan was /is extremly overated

  • @leadiceman22 Duncan had slightly better defense though...opinion.

  • @leadiceman22

are you retarded? Tim Duncan is the greatest power forward of all time. He lead his team to 4 NBA titles

  • I would punch him in the mouth if i ever seen him in real life... Cause hes so ugly its disrespectful.

  • Back in the early 90's I used to play pickup ball against Van Horn at a park in Chino Hills. He was always a really nice guy and I am glad he went on to have a great career and now he has time to focus on his family.

  • this guy deserve more

  • I met Van Horn before a game when he played for Dallas he is a very nice man.

  • oh and growing up as a kid, kvh was my favorite player too. i had to ditch the knicks and become a nets fan. and when we had him on the knicks for those 3 or 4 months, i was so surprised how much he dominated. he was doing shit ive never seen him do. driving in and dunking on people? i knew he had it in him

  • gallinari is way more agressive then van horn, but that was van horn's only real problem..that and his defense. his rookie season literally jumped off the beginning of the nets playoff teams and this was without kidd, remember

  • I miss smashing my friends with the Nets on the dreamcast 2K. Van Horn always dominated. I miss the super socks.

  • Keith Van Horn was reincarnated in the NBA as Danilo Gallinari

  • @bennyfifty are you kidding? one dimensional gallinari isn't half the player van horn was.

  • @bennyfifty

Retired early to be with family

  • this guy was a beast where the fuck is he??

  • Comment removed

  • its funny how white people thought this guy was gonna be another Larry Bird and thought was gonna be the future of the NBA.

  • @TheHNIC88 Doesn't it work like that everywhere? You have an athletic two guard and he is billed as the next Jordan. But I agree, there have been a large number of white players where people had unrealistic expectations about the potential as professionals.

  • @TheHNIC88

He averaged 22 pts in his second season. That's DAMN good.

  • @utahgs yea on 42% shooting on a team that was 16-34.

  • i remember collecting basketball cards when i was a wee lad. and iverson and van horn were always my favorite 2. i still got all his rookie cards lol.

    love the video

  • most horny guy in the nba

  • @gongxia649

Hell no. Hornacek from the Jazz was the most horny

  • didnt this dude shoot a game winner that sent them to the finals in 02?

  • he was nice bback then

  • Wow. It took less than 2 seconds for the rapper to say "nigga" and this vid's about a white guy. Class.

  • GOAT? Always made Kerry Kittles look like the chump he is!

  • he was decent with the mavericks back in 06 and he was only 30. i don't know why he didn't stick around longer.

  • I'd rather have Keith Van Horn on the Nets right now than Yi Jianlian.

  • @joeguy02 i agree...damn i miss those days with kidd,martin,jefferson,and van horn!!

  • @DXarmy202 dat was a squad right there if they would have kept dem together longer

  • What song is this?

  • look at discription

  • Diamond bar high school sucks balls

  • long socks FTW

  • Man, I use to ball that fool up back in the day ! We all use to play at ronald regan park in diamond bar and i use to cross that fool over ! j/k, but every guy who lived in diamond bar during this era has muttered those words at one time or another : )

  • =O 0:45 he dunked on The Dream!

  • so whats new?

  • Keith Adam Van Horn went to my highschool

  • you went to my high school then, since he went to my high school too

  • @111imstupid111 hah db pride?

  • @ToBEAT7

haha no the place is uptight

  • @111imstupid111

really? i wanted to go there but i had to go with los altos haha

  • I always thought that Keith Van Horn and Nick Van Exel were the chosen one's, I always thought they were the ones that could've brought balance to the Knicks.

  • is he retired now? he's too young, he just a rokkie way back in 1997. KVH is one of the best 3 pointers before

  • KVH will always be my favorite player of all time. Followed him since he came into the league when I was 7 years old... Had to switch my favorite teams every year when he kept getting traded. Great player, even better person. Kind of stinks he's no longer playing but he had a good career and has his family. I always wanted to meet him.

  • i know his son he goes to my school and he is really cool

  • damn lol his trade mark long ass socks

  • He lives by me now in Evergreen Colorado, and his sister plays on my sister's soccer team so I see him a lot.

  • you should ask him if he wears knee high socks when he makes love to his Significant Other.

  • Trust me, he does....

    he's rlly shy though...

  • whoops... i meant his daughter plays on my sisiters soccer team

  • sister's*

  • He'll always be a NJ Net. Good solid guy and won us game 5 against Indiana and game 6 against Boston.

  • I always liked his game!

    where is he at now??!

  • being used as salary chips since his contract is still ongoing... he's basically 'retired' though.

bargniani's game seems pretty similar to Van Horn's...not as fluid, though

  • kinda sad though

why can't he play like that in the last five seasons?

    philly(was pretty good with a.i)

    nyk(isiah's crazy i know)

    mil(toni kukoc younger mirror image)

dal(cud have been good as dirk's reliever where don nelson can run dirk plays with him)

  • isiah was stupid for trading him

  • Your wikipedia college accomplishments for Keith Van Horn are all completely wrong. The MWC didn't even exist until 1999 so there is NO WAY that Van Horn was MWC player of the year in 95, 96 or 97. Keith Van Horn NEVER played for a MWC school. Utah was in the WAC during Van Horn's entire career playing there.

  • runner up rookie of year to Tim Duncan.

Career went in the toilet so fast.

    I never understood.

    Was soft.

  • No, he wasn't soft, he rocked for most of his time in the NBA. When the nets went to the finals he kicked ass the whole year.

  • au contraire!

He actually averaged a career low 14.8 ppg in 2002, their first trip to the finals.

Richard Jefferson played the most minutes down the stretch of games and Van Horn was dealt in the offseason.

I would pretty much say the Nets success was Jason Kidd and Kenyon Martin that year.

I have been a Nets fan since the mid 80s so I watched alotttttttt of games.

3 years earlier he averaged almost 22 a game and his rookie year was runnerup to Tim Duncan for ROY.

  • He was sharing minutes with Jefferson true, but he was still a huge part of their success that year. The avg. points don't tell the whole story of his work with the team that year.

  • exactly...there were alot more scoring options that year...wasn't just him and 1 other guy

  • waived

  • He has such a sweet j.

  • big talent, when he was playing for New Jersey was a great player, but then came kenyon martin and Keith has gone of NJ, that was his end of being graet player

  • another wasted talent

  • does he still play lol?

  • yes it is

  • I miss Keith...He was supposed to be a star..His rookie season son was the truth..After the lockout..It's like..Shit just went downhill from there

  • Van Horn had one of the best fakes from the 3 point line. Defenders invariably went for the fake, and Van Horn was quick enough to blow past them. Unfortunately, he just did not seem to have the strength to finish when he got close to the rim, and often got his shot blocked. I liked him as a player, especially on the 1997-98 Nets that featured Van Horn, Jayson Williams, Sam Cassell, Kendall Gill and Kerry Kittles. Nets fans thought they had something special with that group for the future.

  • i never really saw those guys play together...i grew up watching kidd, kittles, van horn, kenyon martin, and todd maculloch.

o and young rj comin off the bench

  • im a big kvh fan glad someone finally made a video where hes not getting dunked on or something!

  • he dominated in new jersey before they got starbury...and now he's sittin @ home gettin paid lol

  • @jmarshall88

I know this is old but learn your facts hes my family friend and he donated every cent of that money to charity

  • the sock keith van horn. remember his first couple of years in the L he was the man in new jersey...

  • damn that was good

  • Didn't know his stats were that good first few years in the league. Nice mix.

  • Nice, Van horn was pretty decent before his knee's blew up

  • yeah............it sucks how many great talent has been lost in knee injuries in the NBA
