Ted Haggard is a habitual abuser, and he needs NEVER be allowed around teenagers or children EVER again. He abused my brother in the 80s when he was a youth pastor, and it appears he just moved on to abuse more. Thank God he was exposed, and I pray he continues to be put back out of the church.

This "church" is a corporation that depends on people giving them fell good money to not only pay the power bill, the mortgage but $180g's in hush money to some kid who says he was abused. Their CEO screwed up so he got fired. The Priests don't have a hold on immorality in the name of religion anymore. Glad to see it is getting passed around.

Ok Grant, when will the healing process start? There has to be point where you can be able to let this incident go and move on. You can't just keep putting someone up on a cross and crucify them over and over and over again!! What this man did to you was tame compared to what you have made it out to be. Congratulations on receiving your degree at a credited college, which New Life has agreed to pay for. Please use that gift to help broaden kids minds and help prevent them from being victims too.

Maybe you need to have your pastor whip out his dick in front of you and jack off and text you dozens and dozens of explicit messages detailing sex and drug use for you to be able to put yourself in Grant's shoes. The holier than thou hierarchy at New Life Church needs to be exposed for the continued cover up of sexual abuse. As does Ted Haggard.

Christians say atheists and agnostics have no morality. I have been told that unless people believe in god they cannot even hope to lead a moral life. But, in fact, it is their own leaders who have serious problems with morality. Remember Jimmy Swaggart? Jim Baker? These were not just members of the flock, they were world famous Christian leaders. Now the godly Ted Haggard, former head of the 30 million member American Association of Evangelicals, turns out to be an dirty liar and a hypocrite.

I don't understand it either. But I have long believed that the whole Evangelical movement is a mass hypnosis to keep certain political forces afloat, and that the followers are programmed to think any failings on the part of authority figures is just the Devil trying to ruin their world. The thinking of that movement is all about trusting leaders just because they say they are Christians. I don't think they can think for themselves anymore.
