the two sports is great !! in football you need more techniques and skills including "Act" even it's a dirty one !! in rugby you need Power more !! to be a footballer u need a tactics a intelligence sight on the field a smart touch on the ball !! in rugby you need muscle & muscle & muscle more than the football !! speed , good pass , shot , reaction and teamwork is in the both sports !!
Also, don't pretend there aren't cheats in rugby. There is basically dishonesty at every breakdown and then there is the whole issue of eye-gouging. And let's face it, rugby is largely a middle-class sport in many countries whereas many top level footballers having come from amazingly tough backgrounds.
