honestly i don't understand the hype about yoona's dancing. it's like seohyun's dancing, precise. but if you want dancing power, leave it to hyoyeon. dancing sexiness, yuri. but yoona is so special as to garner all the attention for everything, including stealing hyoyeon's spotlight.

When you see they go for dance battle or something which they only pick 4-5 people, its normally Hyoyeon, Yuri, Yoona, Sooyoung. Although Yoona is the second lead dancer, and to me, Yoona IS great, but somehow Sooyoung is better, with all the emphasis on the curves and twist if you look at other vids, especially sry sry. And Yoona is also stiff as compared to jess.

I hate to jump on the bandwagon, but I'm getting a bit bored of YoonA always in the center. I am not saying it's her fault, but there's also Yuri or Sooyoung that could be in the center of the dance, not to mention Dancing Queen Hyoyeon. Yoona's in the center for everything no matter -what- it is. They're taking this 'face of SNSD thing a bit far, lol. But I do like her, I'm just saying. She's a really good dance though.
I don't know why they always put Yonna in the middle even when it comes to dancing...I don't say that she can't move but comparing her to Yuri or Hyoyeon she's just not as good as them...she just dance normally...Hyoyeon's dance moves are quick strong and very natural so make it looks really cool...on the another hand Yuri dance very sexy lightly and energetic making her dance very feminine...so I think Yoona should be behind them not in front of them..and also in my opinion Sooyoung is better:p

Stop complaining about Yoona being in the middle. We all know that Hyoyeon is the best dancer, but the position is not up to the girls. You all claim that Yoona is overrated and un-talented, but she's not overrated, although she may be known a bit more. True fans of SNSD will love every member of the group and not complain about who should be where but instead listen to their voices and watch them dance. I'm kinda getting annoyed how Yoona keeps getting in the middle. I know it's the choreography, but it's irritating. Hyoyeon is the dancing machine in SNSD, well with the exception of Yuri and others, but I'd like it if they put Hyoyeon more on the spot in their choreography. if you didnt notice, hyoyeon was already in the front / middle for more than half of the dance (30 seconds). halfway, yoona moved to the front, not only because she is the image of snsd and maintains the center, but because she is the third best dancer in SNSD. yoona was in the front for only 20s or less, but everyone always attacks her. the reason why she is so prized is also because she has been a trainee since middle school, and was first to join SNSD. SNSD was built around her.

yoona isn't technically one of the members who does that much in the group anyways. She dances and sings, sure, but if she went solo, she wouldn't really succeed because of talent. She's better off as an actress
but look at their debut photos, early albums, or historical articles, etc. notice how it says "No. 1 Yoona" ? That's because yoona was the first confirmed member of SNSD. yes, i worded it wrong and it's a misunderstanding... but yoona IS the first member to pass the final revisions and auditions into joining SNSD.
yoona maintains the center and image of SNSD. she also doubles as a TV and CF actress. SNSD are general artists, meaning they dont only sing or dance. ^^

hyoyeon IS in the middle.
she was in the center from 0:00 - 0:34
yoona only moved up from 0:34 - 0:54
so.. that means hyo was in the middle for 34 seconds and yoona was only in the middle for 20 seconds.
and if you didnt notice, SNSD usually divides their dancing groups into 3. the center group consisted of hyo, yuri and yoong.
after the main part of the dance, they just rotated so that each of the main dancers could shine.

@StephanieKarr she really isnt always in the middle. like, in the first chorus of all their songs, she is. but all the other times, shes in the back or on sidelines. i believe seohyun has more time in the front. but thats just my opinion. im sure they dont get too irritated because they really do take turns.

Stop complaining about Yoona being in the middle. We all know that Hyoyeon is the best dancer, but the position is not up to the girls. You all claim that Yoona is overrated and un-talented, but she's not overrated, although she may be known a bit more. True fans of SNSD will love every member of the group and not complain about who should be where but instead listen to their voices and watch them dance. I mean, I can't watch one video without someone saying they like one girl more than another.

I also agree the Hyoyeon should be in the middle, her dancing skills are just undeniable, but ever since the beginning, SM has already decided that Yoona was the face of SNSD, Yoona is the image. So whether its album covers, photoshoots, magazine scans or dance choreography, they will mostly place Yoona in the middle, but its not like she can choose. i just hope people don't blame Yoona and hate her for it, because i know alot of people that hate Yoona just because of SM's decision.

ok,i know yoona is the core of snsd but that does'nt mean she always has to be in the center though seohyun,yuri,yoona are often in the middle for album covers but yoona can dance but not smoothly as hyoyeon + Yuri. pls dont bash me for this comment

seriously i think yuri should be the "MASCOT" of the group. not yoona. well, yoona is pretty but then yuri is much prettier, sexier, and a better dancer too..well...just my opinion

Hyoyeon is the best dancer, but Yuri is the sexiest dancer^^ Seeing Yoona, Seobaby, and Sunny try to do sexy dance is just weird O_O They're not exactly sexy, they're adorkable and cute.

I'm kinda getting annoyed how Yoona keeps getting in the middle. I know it's the choreography, but it's irritating. Hyoyeon is the dancing machine in SNSD, well with the exception of Yuri and others, but I'd like it if they put Hyoyeon more on the spot in their choreography. Only one's opinion, I apologize if I offended anyone.

if you didnt notice, hyoyeon was already in the front / middle for more than half of the dance (30 seconds). halfway, yoona moved to the front, not only because she is the image of snsd and maintains the center, but because she is the third best dancer in SNSD. yoona was in the front for only 20s or less, but everyone always attacks her. the reason why she is so prized is also because she has been a trainee since middle school, and was first to join SNSD. SNSD was built around her.

@12zuzus no offense, but snsd was not built around her. Other members have been a trainee since middle school too. Actually, hyoyeon, jessica, and sooyoung were trainees before her. Anyways, just don't state fallacies and double-check with your facts before you make a comeback comments.
yoona isn't technically one of the members who does that much in the group anyways. She dances and sings, sure, but if she went solo, she wouldn't really succeed because of talent. She's better off as an actress

but look at their debut photos, early albums, or historical articles, etc. notice how it says "No. 1 Yoona" ? That's because yoona was the first confirmed member of SNSD. yes, i worded it wrong and it's a misunderstanding... but yoona IS the first member to pass the final revisions and auditions into joining SNSD.
yoona maintains the center and image of SNSD. she also doubles as a TV and CF actress. SNSD are general artists, meaning they dont only sing or dance. ^^

this early SNSD days... so.. during then, they never really put hyo out as the middle dancer. go check up their early dance performance
and seriously, this is the first EVER i've seen people complain about a member in the group being in the center too much. its ridiculous. in suju, siwon is practically ALWAYS in the middle. you dont see ELFs busting him out. i'm disappointed at sones.

I'm so freakin' tired of seeing YoonA EVERYWHERE! I don't even think that she is that pretty, Yuri, Jessica, Sooyoung and Hyoyeon are the prettiest in the group! I'm sorry to say this but . . . I hate Yoona.
