  • I saw Keb Mo in concert opening for Robert Cray...Keb stole the show. I love this song most of all. Plenty of Keb on itunes.

  • I was homeless in Oregon at the bottom of a concrete street, trying to figure out how to get my butt back to Kansas. Where the Buffalo Roam. I was working on a song that was almost word for word to this one. But I DID NOT write this one. But it makes me feel like I'm not so alone in this. Thank you Keb, you saved me from being so angry at this world, and you never know, maybe you were Gods' tool to give me some motivation. So, Thanks.

  • We al hear music and wish we could just be a part of it in a spirit and float where the good feeling takes us. This one is mine I would ride this musical wave to the deepest paradise in the woods and stay there by the stream in the tall grasses that surround the life I love. It is absolutly beautiful to "be"... Keb' Mo' touched my life.

  • Released waaaay back in 1994 on his self-titled CD "Keb Mo" from Epic Records.

  • Thanks so much. My husband and I first heard him when we were in DC on vacation. Some store we were in was playing one of his cd's. We bought one of them, but apparently not this one. I heard this song on NPR this past weekend and fell in love with it. I didn't realize he had such an extensive discography. Do you have a recommendation as to a good one for a gift for my husband this Christmas? My husband has very eclectic tastes in music and I'd like to surprise him. Thanks!

  • When Keb Mo came to our city this year, I was so upset he didn't sing this song. I did love the show, but this is my absolute favourite song.

  • Keb Mo is the greatest. Like many of you here the song fits me also. 45 years in SD/LA and I cant do it anymore. Found the desert. Hope you all can do the same before its too late. Regards, Resoblues

  • this is the type of song that can be turned way up and take you to a whole different state of calm. i think this song is very well done. thanks keb. keep it real.

  • I neglected to mention I too was born and raised in Chicago 43rd and Halsted to be exact. I moved to Arizona in 1979 but now it's a big city and I'm looking to get out again. I need to get to the country before I lose my mind.

  • My late hsb was born & raised in Chicago. The day after graduation, he couldn't wait to get out of the City. He came to Southern Illinois where we eventually met & married. He was an outdoorsman who LOVED buffalo. He had difficulty sleeping at night & had very bad astigmatism & would rather be in the woods than any place else (other than with me or his family). When he died, I played this song at his funeral. No other song fit him to a tee more than this one. Thank you so much, Keb......

  • Thank you for sharing such a beautiful story and sorry for your loss!

  • Thank you - it was 6 yrs this year. What a special man & song. I had so many people come up to me after the funeral asking me where they could get that song because everyone knew it was just written about him.....

  • sorry for your loss, yur husband sounds alot like me when it comes to loving the woods, this is a great song which all free spirits can relate to, KEEP ON FREE SPIRITS!!!!!

  • i saw Keb Mo live a couple of weeks ago in New Mexico. What a great artist. This song puts a lump in my throat everytime I hear it.

  • Your story touched me. One more reason now to get all misty-eyed when I listen to this one, I guess.

My deepest condolences for your loss.

Your husband sounded like a man I very much would have liked to have known.

  • @cjpmpd

seems like he was great man. i feel sorry for you and share the emotion of the song

    with you in particular

  • Played the way all music should be performed - from the heart. Thanks Barbara for introducing me to this.

  • if you don't feel this from the inside out you're musically dead

  • it doesn't touch me at all and i listened

  • Blues, grit, pain, spit

    And a whole lotta Spunk!

    Thank You, Guitar Man

For revealing Mo' than One Way Home

    In time... Peace

  • Exquisite!! Been my privilege to see him do this live.

  • superb!

  • Keb Mo is the soulfull-most cat on the scene, I am mezmerized by his voice and stories

  • That's because i love music.

  • Saw him at Gruene Hall once, by himself. One of the best shows I've ever seen, and I'm a 53 year old almost famous ex musician, lol. WOW, what a guy. Just had to chime in. don't EVER miss a chance to see him. A great reason for a weekend road trip. This tune makes my eyes wet, others make my insides wiggle, lol.

  • sickest dude ever... im 17 livin in philly and i saw this guy in concert at the keswick theatre in glenside... if any of you get a chance to see this man, go, because it was the best show that i've ever been to and i saw james taylor this year so hes basically amazing.

  • Absolutely brilliant. He amazes me...

  • Man 'o man! I don't know what to say. Keb mo, where the hell have you been all my life. I'm a 47 year old guitar player who started at 15 playing with a very famous country singer and his brothers in Houston when we were kids. I have never found a perfect mixture of blues and feel in a musician as I have just (finally) dixcovered in Keb Mo. I am definitely a new fan and will be for life. I'm running to Best Buy tomorrow and gather every album I can. Thank God for tonight's discovery and Keb Mo.

  • This is what makes youtube worthwhile- it opens new worlds to people. I've just discovered mo myself, although I'm significantly younger, it still is a great find!

  • Keb' Mo is just plain awesome. NO one is better, and very few as good. This piece is outstanding. Thanks for sharing.
