@zbychuppl Not quite true. When using heavy bells it's perfectly acceptable to bring it back to the rack before going again - saves the lower back from serious injury. This guy is ridiculously strong. :)
very impressive. you're half beast lol!I don't have kettlebell but i smth similar. It's a 50kg stone with an iron ring on top. I'm only 5'7 and 60kg myself so I'm not doing one handed snatches r anything, just able to deadlift it then walk (record is about 50meters w/o pausing)
thank you for the suggestion,i will surely follow ..At the moment my best on snatches is 10/10 with 40,you know what?i'm more strong and confident in snatch than the clean & jerk drill.........it will take some time i guess, again, thank you for your inspiration an thank you for your time, you're very kind.
Unbelievable. As a personal trainer, I have to say congratulations mate. Good technique as well, your shoulder stabilisers (along with everything else!) must be made of steel! Having learnt and used and taught KBs, to snatch a 60kg is a staggering achievement. The amount of hard work and training to get to that level is amazing. Well done you!
The 60kg is pretty harsh but I've now worked upto a decent level where a training session doesn't destroy me. This probably isn't how kettlebells should be used but I love the challenge of the heavy ones.
Cheer mate! At the time when I did it I could only do it with pre swing, but am working on just from a hang. The bell handle is 1.9" thick so is tough on the grip. In time I will be. Next vid hopefully
They can be used exactly how you want to Rob. Doesn't matter. For example, I do 6 exercises @ 7mins continuous each exercise with about 1.5mins in between each exercise. For example, swing, high pull, snatch, clean & push press, figure 8 + slingshot, triple crush, then abs. But sometimes I'll do 3 sets of 12 using KBs for chest press, one-arm row, etc. Believe me, you're doing just fine!! :)
Always a good idea, even if you're not looking for weight loss etc - it's good for the ol' jam tart and lungs, so if you're training for strength, maybe just do one or two cardio workouts a week. I've been a PT for two years and been into the 'bells for about a year. They have really changed my training both for me and my clients, though I don't use them for the sake of it :) I do love 'em though. They are like your best training friend and worst training enemy all in one!!
now do a tgu with it

Cheers mate! Work on swinging first then clean and jerk and then go for the snatch when you're confident with the rest and just keep trying.

hi, out of interest what is the circumference of the handle on the titan? very strong by the way.
spaced9999 2 years ago
The diameter is 47 mm (1.85") measured with vernier calipers so 3.142.... x 47mm roughly!
Cheers mate!!

Cheers Matt! I need to work on some lighter stuff too to get some cardio in tho.
You seem to know your kettlebell stuff Matt.
How long have you been personal training and also kettlebelling?

Pretty good, you must have a decent grip. Can you snatch it without a pre swing?
