i went...i mean, it was a speech he has used before. but it was awesome to finally see democrats come together because you would have rarely seen this kind of stuff for kerry back in 04. the best part was all of central through nob hill being filled with honks as everyone waved their signs to passing cars/pedestrians. it was inspiring to see a party that is usually so divided come together for once.

I was there! The crowd was overall very friendly, but you're right about the "fake democrats", there was a guy there with a handheld camera who I overheard saying, "Why doesn't Obama just shower dollar bills on these people? They're here for handouts anyway." And there was that one Ron Paul sign guy...

But everyone else was very nice, enthusiastic, chatty, we were glad we made the drive from up north.

Sorry to hear you didn't like Obama catering to Hispanic voters. With all due respect, my man, you are easily outnumbered here in NM. Obama hasn't wrapped up NM yet, and the Hispanic vote here means a lot. So to be dissapointed that he was catering to them makes no sense. He does reach out to everyone...don't hate just because he's trying to shore up the Hispanic vote. You'd do it as well if you were running. If you didn't, you'd probably lose. Let's stay positive on all fronts.......ese!

mccain had 800 people present........ obamas was 35,000 with 10,000 outside.

I heard there were like 35,000 people there for Obama and McCain got only a little over 1,500 people out today while both were in NM. Those are not exact numbers but...Wow! And there is no doubt about the positive vs. negative difference between the two campaigns.
