I have to say Christchurch you put it on! I had the best weekend! This was my 2nd time seeing Maiden & they are "HELLYEAH!!" I got to meet Janick & Dave Murray after the concert, Man it was the BEST Weekend ever, wish i could go back!!

It was awesome ,but the fucking mosh area had an age limit on some areas. So it felt dissapointing from up high.

But maiden sounded wayyy beter than any other live shows ,heck even live after death :D

must've been mixed participation thru crowd, we were 3 rows from Janick and everyone was screaming the lyrics all night! and ohhh-ohhh-ing! after 20 years of waiting i finally saw IRON FUCKIN MAIDEN! beats anyone i've seen-ac/dc, chilis, slayer, NIN,metallica, ozzy, maiden are the absolute gods!!

what a mindblowingly intense concert. yea come on chch next time give it your all. i was singing my lungs out all night. its just incredible to see these guys just metres away. sooo spot on with everything about the show!!!

i think the crowd was a little dull because the songs towards the end were not as popular as say the trooper and number, which i thoughtb they would have played last, but the chch crowd sure rocked ass, must have been the same fans as gnr and the velvet revolver concert a couple of years ago,

yeah sometimes the crowd was just a little dul on occasion. i didnt care i was OHH OHH OHHing soo hard (about 10 rows back - was like 4 rows from the barrier but after the 3rd song i ended up back there).

sexpistol66 the song played before aces high was maidens cover of UFO's "doctor doctor" with blaze on vox, Maiden often plays this song before a concert apparently cos steve harris is really into the band

probably the best gig Christchurch has ever had, their 2 hour set went by so freakin quickly. Hopefully more footage from this awesome concert will appear here. cheers for the up.

the best live concert i ever been to, i thought chch could have been more supporting. they didnt sing fuck all, Im as hoarse as fuck today, and still buzzing, stoked as fuck to have seen Rime of the Ancient Mariner live.

i agree that the crowd could have got into it more at times. when they played fear of the dark, i felt like i was the only one singing the "oh oh oh..." parts, and i was right up the front. disappointing, ay!

awesome show! that was my first maiden concert, you can see my arm in the shot when eddie comes onstage! you must have been right behind me! that was one of the best parts with bruce waving the flag at the start!
