I actually agree with you on this point: Jade was a better singer. But the thing of it is Alexander, I think, put on the better show. Something that a lot of the competators suffered from was just standing around during their performances (which I can't critisize too much, because I do understand that it's hard), but Alexander made it fun to watch.

I am glad the best song won. It deserved the best place. There are rare songs in Eurovision history that couldn't get what it deserved like 1990-Spain-Bandido or 1975-Turkey-Seninle bir dakika or 1979 Greece-Sokrati. I am happy that the best won this year.

I love the song, but am forced to admit that I am doubtful if he's playing the violin. What with the enormous jump at 1:24 and the fact that there was no change in the tone of his violin, no squeaks, no nothing. In fact every violin riff is the exact same.

Despite this, I love the song and Mr Rybak is very lovely :)

You can actually hear it when he comes close to the microphone, but then again, he plays exactly the same, so it must be hard for you to hear. ^_^
