I am not a professional,but interested i streetphoto, photos are telling stories or describe moments ....talking to me in some way! A lot of nice photoes here...telling stories! Great:)
I have noticed that some of them are giving some hints of HCB style. A lot of people are getting stuck at the formula:
Leica + HCB = Excellence
which is apparently not true. Even not all of the HCB's work is excellent.
I would suggest you to look at the work in World Press Photos and James Nachtwey's. It will definitely help you editing your photos and forget about Leica, ASPH, and best image quality, etc.
Anything posted up here are subject to be criticized. Be more open-minded, buddy. How would you define "professional"? As far as I know, there is no such formula:
professional = good work
or vice versa. You can walk in some gallery and you may notice some excellent work that could be better than any professionals', yet the artist would just be a college student.
I could be that last person who will point at the naked king in the parade and say "he is naked"!
I don't need to be a "professional" per se to be able to judge any type of artwork. If a person liked or disliked Mona Lisa, does that person have to be better than Da Vinci?
I stumbled across your video after watching the Robert Frank video on Vanity Fair. You've put together an amazing collection of images. Nice job! These images also moved me to think about the human condition in 2008. Some of the images are so subtle, but shocking when you consider what's being done, like image number 43. Good luck with your video! I think you've captured some incredible moments!
great

Good try but a lot of them look quite amateurish. They are lacking the soul out of 2-dimensional space of the images.
