  • i have watched the film, is fantastic

  • MR CHRISTIAN !!!!!!!!!!

  • @MovieMad007 have you seen other version of this movie where is marlon brando as a mr christian?hes much better than mel gibson here..

  • @pArTyBOE82 Nope, I haven't seen it yet. I'm sure I shall! Although I'm sure its a difficult character to pull of successfully - as nobody in Britain really new him too well - because he was very young when he went to Pitcairn and he stayed there. Mind you its not hard to see why somebody would want to be in that part of the world - i have been to Whitsunday island off the Australian Great Barrier Reef - beautiful place!

  • Not a great film, but probably the most accurate of the three. Interesting music, even though it seems too modern for an 18th.century story.Anyway, it is worth watching, especially for the fine acting by Hopkins and Gibson and the first class production.

  • @loufalce i thing hopkins is great but gibson role is little bit disapointing cause brando christian role was so great but i cant say which these 2 movies is better..i give 3 stars from 5 to this one..i like roger donaldson though..13 days, the bank job and world fastest indian is my favorite movies from him

  • @pArTyBOE82 ...Agree with you on this. Gibson was just alright. Brando seemed all wrong as Christian in the `62 version, but IMHO Clark Gable was the best in the 1935 version. Although Gable was excellent, Laughton was absolutely electrifying as Bligh. Was he really that mean and sadistic? Maybe, but I really would prefer not to be on his ship!

  • @loufalce i have not see 35 version..i try to get it somewhere..was there big diffrences on 35 version comparing those 2 later made?heh i thing that guy really was sadist as hell..in that boat my back would be as hurt from whipping as my ass in swedish cruising boat if i would fall in sleep on drunk on public place

  • It's a real shame this soundtrack hasn't been released as an official version :(

  • TROPPO BELLO COLONNA SONORA FILM ATTORIIIII

  • Outstanding. Haunting and truly fitting ! The Bounty has always been one of my favorites. A true story during a period when adventure was truly adventure.

  • Probably the best soundtrack ever made.

Espcially the End Titles where Bligh and the remaining crew enters the habour.

  • Mi película preferida. He visto por primero tiempo cuando tuve 12 aňos :)

My favourite movie. I saw it for the first time, when I was 12.

Môj najobľúbeneší film.Prvý krát som ho videl, keď som mal 12 rokov.

  • I found the double record on eBay last year. Payed about 15€

  • a great reason to use mp3ify - it WORKS, unlike the other MP3 conversion sites

  • The music fits the film beautifully. It sets the mood that makes you want to watch it again and again, especially since it is based on a true story where the mutineers descendants still live to this day.

  • You have 1) Anthony Hopkins 2) Mel Gibson 3) Daniel Day lewis 4) Liam Neeson

In the cast. Try making this film with them now and you'd bankrupt the studio with their fees alone.

  • Wonderful score by Vangelis for this film. The whole work echoes the era of 18th century seafaring, to what were strange, exotic lands, far beyond the imaginations of the British sailors who were involved in the mutiny at Taihiti. Love the way it builds on the single, synth note beat, like the rising tension between Bligh, Christian and the men. And that metalic hiss of percussion hints at the act of piracy to come. Brilliant!

  • what a piece of crap you are..wishing Mel Gibson gets "lung cancer"..do you know him???? what a piece of crap you are....incntry67/68

  • Spettacolo questa colonna sonora...

  • the name is opening tittles of mutiny of the bounty, you can see it in alboum theme also

  • FrankClanton... GRate SUCK from Romania . ..are not interested in your preferences... can you ever play your mother in the film :)

  • Massive !!!!!!!

  • So much better movie than the version from the 60ties. The characters in this one have so much more depth and the atmosphere of adventure, longing and faraway places is just great in this one.

  • timeless music !

  • Love it soooooo... the story, such fabulous music. Watched it 1st time at 18 and fell in love with Fletcher. Mel was gorgeous and with such passion. Awesome movie

  • Gibson is a fucking ugly bald Nazi and I hope he gets LUNG CANCER. His awful bland performance ruined the whole fucking movie.

  • Gorgeous Music! Made by a Greek of course! (Vangelis Papathanasiou)

  • extra .. :)

  • An amazing piece Vangelis composed !

  • The best version by a mile. I enjoyed Laughton, but this knocked it out the park.

  • @FrankClanton

Each to there own. Gibson was great.

  • what a great score form vangelis!!!!

  • I know the author (composer) of this melody is Vangelis, but what's the name of the song???? Anyone knows?

  • In blooteg soundtrack of the song appears with the name "Main Titles". In the album Odyssey, launched in 2003 appears with the title "Opening Titles From (Mutiny On The Bounty)."

  • @unicoalexandre more song's please !!!

  • The album was never released although there is a bootleg as mentioned by unicoalexandre containing most of the ost with less than desirable audio... this and the closing titles can be found the "themes" best of album.

  • its just simply called opening titles as it says:)

  • @atonly so so!!!!jaaaaa

  • Not as good as the Clark Gable-Chas Laughton version, but probably more accurate. Worth seeing.

  • lol Kombikrajsta ^^

  • Toatl Fuckin Brutal as fuck.

  • Hauntingly beautiful!

  • you describe it perfectly!! i would love to go to tahiti, it looks beautiful!!

  • I like your video. Thanks. My ancestor William was able seaman on HMS Bounty. I am partial to this video.

  • @WindsNature

Was he on this Bounty trip to Tahiti to ccollect breadfruits. Am interested in knowing more about your ancestor. thanks

  • Un video y musica mas lindo, gracias para ponerlo!

  • whoever owns the rights to 'The Bounty score (Vangelis?) please, please can we have an official CD release???

  • Unfortunately there is only the blooteg the soundtrack.

  • You can get all of Vangelis's movie themes on his CD called "Titles" I have his two main themes from The Bounty on my iPod.

  • @unicoalexandre CRAP! They did a release with their other film themes.

  • there is this track on a compilation of vangelis, its got all of his film tracks on it.blade runner etcect

  • thanks wellbran, I've got that album...but it would be great if the entire score for The Bounty was released

  • Actually you can get this song and the closing titles on a Vangelis CD entitled " Themes".

  • @stadioazteca vangelis did tape with this on it actually - I bought it! It had their other film themes too - Blade Runner etc :-)

  • Wow, that Vangelis dude really knew how to make sounds that are pleasing to the ear. I usually don't like instramental music, but his stuff is great.

  • I read with interest that folks think the music fits the film - and it does - but I reckon the closing theme for the film should be the opening and the opening theme (this one) should be the closing! Perhaps I'm off beat.....

  • I think they could work interchangeably.:) Also, they used this in the trailer.

  • No. Sit down and watch the movie. The opening is an obvious foreshadowing.

  • Personally, I think the closin theme of "The Bounty" sounds more climatic.

  • Marvellous music from a film that was ahead of its time. Apart from maybe a bit of CGI I don't see this film being made any differently nowadays.

  • what does CGI mean?

  • Muzyka Vangelisa jest najlepiej dobrana do tego filmu! Podkreśla doskonałość tego filmu i nadaje mu fantastyczny klimat. Nie mogę przestać odlądać tego filmu.

  • i have never heard a better fit of music to a film before.

  • brilliant piece of music,it sums up the mood of the film.

  • can`t stop to watch the film over and over again...why? Nature,Story, Actors...and offcourse the fabolous music from vangelis ...watch it!!

  • The only other piece of music that fit a film as well as this was Tangerine Dreams "Loved by the sun" in the movie Legend. But I still like this one better.:D

  • "The Bounty" was the best of the three Mutiny on the Bounty movies. Mel Gibson was much better than Marlon Brando and Clark Gable. Of course this music was just wonderful.

  • wow, naturally i would have to start shit with you for saying something like that about marlin brando, im a die hard fan of his...but i will have to say if any of todays actors can be compared to him Mel Gibson would be one of the few. Hes a heavyweight talent, and hes very convincing to watch in any roll

  • I agree that this film did have elements that the others did not. The musical score was by far the best of all 3. This one focused on the story from Bligh's viewpoint, whereas the 2nd did so from Christians. The 1st focused on Bligh's 'bad' behaviour. The 1st two were, I beleive based on an early book by N & H. We need a new filmfocusing on all the elements based on recorded facts. But, of course people want the romantic side of the story, don't they. And why not?

  • Film was on the other night ...first time in ages....amazing set of events...backed with this amazing piece of brillance from Vangelis.

  • Vangelis makes such a soothing soundtrack to this movie

  • BLade Runner got good VAngelis pieces!

  • amazing music,vangelis was underated.

  • and Dr. Dre took the credit.

    Here goes fairness in life.

  • hey my name's marek too lol, yeah such is life

  • awesome music

  • gives me goose bumps & chills...

  • Haunting. Riveting. One of my favorite Vangelis pieces (right next to L'Enfant) in terms of emotional impact and the scale of sound. Many felt this technical score didn't sort the era/feel of "The Bounty" (in terms of accuracy), but I feel just the opposite. The dark tones in this sequence is just what the movie was about; the tense struggle between following your duty and your conscience. I can literally feel the conflict/battle between Bligh and Christain here; how they both crossed lines.

  • well said.

  • yes

  • @MuizeekPhanahtic

You are so right about L´Enfant

  • genius soundtrack but bad quality :/

  • Brilliant movie & soundtrack, fascinating piece of history!

  • no.

  • My ancestor William Muspratt served on the HMS Bounty and was one of the few lucky ones who avoided hanging.

  • Yeah, right...

  • Very haunting music!

  • Not

  • Grow up.

  • I grew up. You didnt, as you cant take it when someone disagrees with you.

  • You're making pointless childish comments: "not", "yeah, right", "no". Why not make some constructive criticism of the video or just leave it alone?
