The passengers thought this was just a hijack - backed by the threat of what they thought were explosives; they did the best thing they could at the time and sat still. Jet kerosene is a compression/combustion fuel, like diesel. Very lubricating, but not a good ignition fuel like gasoline. It is a crude fuel, very dirty with lots of impurities. It's cheap for a reason the airlines want to make money, the less refined the fuel the less it costs. I've tried to start fires with it to burn tree limbs and leaves, finally gave up and threw some gasoline on it. The steel melting theory is Bullshit!

The passengers thought this was just a hijack - backed by the threat of what they thought were explosives; they did the best thing they could at the time and sat still. It was only when news filtered through to the last plane that they were destined as missiles they did something about it - and died in the effort.

Fetzer should not even be allowed to utter the word physics. He is (or was) a professor of logic. How logical is quantum mechanics? How logical is general relativity. Logic once dictated that heavy objects must fall faster than light ones. Just because an argument is logical does not mean it's correct. And Fetzer's arguments are not even logical to boot :)
Fetzer is just an arrogant, obnoxious know it all who believes that he knows better than the vast majority of engineering experts.

90% of the 9/11 calls were made from air phones.. As for cell phones 'not working at 33,000 feet'.. That's simply wrong - flight attendants on Delta flight 1989 (the plane that took an emergency landing in Cleveland as a suspected hijacking) were suspicious because a passenger was aggressively speaking on his cellphone during flight and refused to hang up - Cell phones were more than capable of making calls at 33,000 feet, while not ALL are successful (hence the airphones) some very much are.

I said quite clearly that I want an investigation I can believe in--whatever its result. The NIST investigation is dishonest because it assumed that initiation of any collapse at all (which would likely have been local, partial, and asymmetrical) would lead to total symmetrical near-freefall-speed collapse. That is dishonest.
NIST ignored the sulfidation attack on the steel, and the molten iron. They threw out empirical tests when they didn't give the "right"

When an investigation ignores important lines of inquiry, its methodology is flawed. Rejecting an investigation because of its flawed methodology is not the same as rejecting it because one disagrees with its conclusions. If the methodology were honest, I wouldn't have a problem with its conclusions. In fact, I prefer its conclusions to the Controlled Demolition hypothesis. I would like to be able to believe in them.

We're not saying the same thing. You say I reject anything that doesn't have the result I want. That's not true at all. I reject the NIST report because the unscientific process makes their conclusions suspect.
I would much prefer to believe that fires brought down the twin towers. That would be much more convenient for me. The government's suppression of evidence, skewed investigations, and unscientific method make it impossible for me to believe that until I see an honest investigation.

1) wrong there was heat damage.
2) When you slam big slabs of concrete against each other then drop the remains 110 stories, some of it will pulverize
3) Collapses were NOT free fall, or even near FF.
4) The collapses were no symmetrical. B1 shows the ant sliding down just as the collapse starts (basically straight down) while B2 upper section rolled as it started to collapse.

sounds highly unlikely. If that were the case, the pilots would have refused to leave the cockpit, and would have brought them to their destination themselves. A pilot would never allow a hijacker to control their plane. Your story does not add up.

This guy has a bunch of great points. But about #9... it seems unfair to expect bodies to survive a plane crash. It is not disputed that each plane had a good amount of jet grade kerosene. That should be plenty to destroy any bodily remains.

Jet kerosene is a compression/combustion fuel, like diesel. Very lubricating, but not a good ignition fuel like gasoline. It is a crude fuel, very dirty with lots of impurities. It's cheap for a reason the airlines want to make money, the less refined the fuel the less it costs. I've tried to start fires with it to burn tree limbs and leaves, finally gave up and threw some gasoline on it. The steel melting theory is Bullshit!
