Thats awesome. Its amazing how natural a reflex it is for us to want to bang on stuff. I have to say the headphones are the cutest part, the way they keep slipping.
matter what are you thinking man? The ramifications of unleashing her talent will cause heads to explode in a few years!
It is seriously awesome though that you're trying to get your daughter started so early...I wish my parents would have been thoughful enough to let me try an instrument at such a young age.
I got a feeling in about 10 yrs. your little girl is gonna be rippin across a set....she has an amazing talented teacher....teach the young one the basics.. sticking, rudiments, paraditels, double paradittels, flamacues, etc......I wanna see her playin swiss army triplets....and just buzzing through like a 7 stroke roll...ha ha make it happen teacher show her the great feeling of rockin out don't let her grow up and be a hip-hop club rat.
You got some pretty ladies in your life man! keep music alive! teach your little girl how to play.... Your a great drummer. Sorry it took me so long to find you on here but I'm glad I did. Tool is my fav band ever. very technical and you pull it off. your great and your family is great.. best of luck and greatest of health to all of you. peace out n rock on!
one thing ive seen from several drummers is that they start their rack toms with the lower drum first then have the higher one next. why? any particular reason?
thats besides the point though. wouldn't you stay with the pattern and have the sounds get progressively get lower and arrange them in their order of decreasing pitch?
cute family,u know my son started very young too,he just recently won his school talent show at the age of five, then I made the mistake of buying him a playstation,no more drumming.
dude that's awesome, tryin to get my 6yr. old son interested. bought him a jr. acoustic set. looks like your daughter knows what she's doin. she has learned from a great teacher.
Grats man. Great drumming she did there.Get her a nice small kit. Buy her a 16" floor tom converted to a kick and 10" rack tom and 12inch floor tom with some nice cymbals not beginner level please. She is very cute. Take care man. Blessings.
matter, you should send this to Lasse Gjertsen.ask him if maybe he could edit a cool clip for ya. search lasse-amateur to get an idea if ya dont know him. it'd be sick dude!!! congratz too!!

Oh sure! Daddy get's the nice recording studio mix, but baby girl has to live with camcorder mic!
Brotha seriously, you are one of the cleanest drummers I've ever heard. Your hardest work ahead of you is not who wants you, it's who you want!
God gave you the talent, now go and serve Him with it!
Be blessed!
