i dont get how in the past the machine is ok so in the present its wrecked anyway without going to the past so if its already wrecked a month before in the past how would there be a bad future?
ok for anybody wanting to know, its not the ENGLISH version that had different music its the US version. In Europe where we also speak english we kept the original soundtrack. duh
Very nice video! I got the US version of this game recently since i couldn't find a JP version of a Mega CD on eBay but that doesn't matter, the US soundtrack in my opinion is as good as the Japanese one. I really do want this version though..
can anyone help me?? i got the japan version of the game on a genisess emulator and when i load it up eggman appears with a sign and i press every buttion to get the gaame going but i am stuck with eggman and his sign which is in japan langauge.
I don't think Sonic CD was that great either. But I didn't play it when it was new so my opinion is alittle off since I played the games that refined what Sonic CD and Sonic 1 did.
Music wise it was great (Japan version) and did alot of neat things so I'll give them that.
No don't respect his opinion, he's a fucking idiot.
Sonic CD was the one if not the best 2D Sonic game ever made.
Also when you say "English Version", you know the English as in version that came out in England was exactly the same as the Japanese version, Sega Europe saw fit to keep the original soundtrack and bonuses.
This game rules! I really enjoy playing it. I also heard the differences in music between the English and Japanese versions before. I have the English version of the game and I actually prefer the English version's invincibility music, but all of the different Japanese music is pretty great too. :D
It's only the USA version that has different music. The European version keeps the original Japanese soundtrack too. That's why I want this game on the Wii's VC. I own the version on Gems Collection and it has the USA soundtrack, which is OK but I prefer the original soundtrack.

You know, I think the US music was pretty good. I think both JP/EU and US music are equally good.
SpaceScreaminJohn 1 year ago
Both versions share the "past" music. I like that. I guess it's sort of a way for us to get a glimpse of how the JP version music sounds.

It'd be nice if could actually hear the fucking music!
