  • I first heard a lot of negative thought and about the book but I read the book when it was first posted online in Arabic few years ago, the book touched a limited sect of the society however it was a good eye opener since it was based on a realistic experiences. I saw a glimpse of my friends and I in each character in the book. Over all its a good book, I am glad she is finally getting to go international with it.

  • Currently I'm reading the book, since i live in saudi arabia I know the girls well, they are not 100% like the book, the book wants to make a quake that's all

  • @PlyMood i agree with u , doc raja just wants the media attention to be famous

  • Nothing changed DOC !!! i rode the book and its not that much written , it was having the formal and not formal Arabic .

  • beautiful

  • am looking for ur next books....

  • My Arabic Prof wanted her to come speak to our class about her book and she asked him for money. What a jerk !

  • @nadiachicago33

    that`s what pussies are honey

  • what?

  • I read her book and I do not find any insult to the Saudi girls. In fact, it is a very eye opening to the Saudi Society. It's one of my favorite books on my book shelf. I loved it and I will always recommend it to other readers around the world. I hope that her upcoming novels or books would be as good as the Girls of Riyadh or even better.

  • Saudi women are the world's most beautiful women

  • Just another slut walking around !

  • @mohager101

    she's not a slut

At least she has a master's degree

I am almost sure you do not have something but unemployment

    She wrote a novel

    And you didn't do anything

so you don't get to call her a slut

Good luck to Rajaa Alsanea in her next novel

It is true that the novel does not represent the Saudi guys

But it remains a beautiful work

  • @abood7r

Hi dickhead .. 1st : I`m a Petroleum engineer and not an unemployed ( not unemployment as you said )

    2nd: having a master`s degree doesn`t mean being a real whore

3rd: Maybe I haven`t written a novel , but at least I read some real novels not shitty unintellectual works written by slutty bitches

  • @hessahalsanea

guess what hesa or whatever is your name .. I don`t give fuck if she was your aunt

    so what !!

    you can`t even understand english >> " god sakeS " !!

it`s only one sake for fuck`s sake !

you know what .. just go find some penis to suck .. you`d feel better

  • @mohager101 hahahaha omg wow do you know english? The correct form should be "for God's sake", since it is a standard possessive case, i.e. "for the sake of God" (cf. "for heaven's sake, stop complaining!" and so on). I have heard, in the UK, "for God sake's", which I would consider to stem from a confusion about the meaning and (grammatical) form. Learn your place you cheap bitch

  • @hessahalsanea

lol you know what`d really make me roll on floor laughing >> watching your vagina bleeding at the toilet in your period .. it`s gonna be super comic show :)

BTW .. when does it take place .. which day every month ?

  • @mohager101 and it has nothing to do with understanding English, it is about knowing English. I swear it's retards like you that make me laugh.

  • would u marry me Rajaa ... i'm really serious and ready with whole specification of the best saudis men and what u nearly needs ... please feel free to contact me 00642102177777

  • @Red2Sugar dude calm down u must be really stupid thinking

Rajaa can see ur message let alone u give a call on ur number. by the way if u did'nt realise , this video was not posted by Rajaa herself, its promation for her book. grow some kahuunas and find a girl to marry that u can actually see in real life.

  • i admire rajaa alsanea.

she is a brave and intelliget girl. i would love to read her book.

    hats off in her honour.

  • Asma bint marwan, wrote a poem to denounce the murder of abu afaq at the hands of muhammad's assassins. muhammad in response asked his followers," who would get me rid of this daugher of marwan". omair ibn aadi swore to take care of her. he entered her tent in the night and plunged the knife in asma's chest, while she was sleeping surrounded by her kids. one of the kids was even sucking on the breast

muhammad showed pleasure hearing this news of murder and congratulated assassin for his deed.

  • umm qirfa ( fatima d. rabia b. badar ) of the tribe banu fazara from wadi al-qura

was a very respected elderly woman, but She was opposed to muhammad's claim of

    prophethood.

she was taken prisoner during a raid on banu fazara by muhammads raiding party.

commander zayed b. harith ordered qays b. al-musahhar to kill her. Qays tied her leg and arm on each side to a camel and drove both camels in opposite direction, therby tearing her body apart.

“sirat rasul allah, by ibn ishaq

  • Read the book people. It is a window into a different world. Do it :)

  • Rajaa Al Sanea your story it is not true >> uahh .. Written by your imagination

Sorry, but these are the truth.

  • You are so beautiful Raja .. God bless u :)

  • english needs improvement before bragging about ur novel ;)

    supid XXXXXX

  • @unknownjackal Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

  • @Whimplash dude i dont know who you are or where ur from but for one thing stop spending ur energy replying to people's comments ... I dont like this women and I dont like here writtings .... just a small stunt that made big publicity !!!! get it !!!! ... when more saudi girls start following her footsteps ... idiots like you will not find it amuzing or interesting .... so basically i know the kind of sick people u come from .... good day to you :)

  • @unknownjackal Dude, I'm making fun of your shitty spelling!! Supid? Check your english before making fun of someone else's, please!!

  • @unknownjackal "I know the kind of sick people you come from"

And I suppose you would consider that supporting the hanging of homosexuals, stoning of adulterers and killing of those who vocally disagree with the validity of a 7th century desert cult 'philosophy' to be a decent, humanitarian moral stance? That denying women the right to drive a car or leave the house without male permission to be 'respectful'?

Wake up or be woken up.

  • @blackmore4 Well it depends on how you perceive sick people … just a very simple question … if we never had oil … would a sick person like you be commenting on these current affairs … whatever happens with the Saudi Conservative society is up to the Saudis on deciding what they want for their own self interest … I don’t think they need your unmoral, self centered, pathetic , unjustified, democratic intellect …

  • @blackmore4 and by the way those “sick” people you talk about can turn you and your society back to the stone age with just one simple turnkey of an oil pipe-line … we know who we are and what we represent … as for you … you are nothing but a barking dog on the way of a moving caravan …

  • @unknownjackal

It was you who used the term "sick"; presumably against anyone daring to criticize a culture that openly flaunts abuse of basic human rights. And then "self-centred, pathetic..." do try to calm down... you'll find, if you care to look into it, that the human capacity for compassion, the basis of every thriving society, is all I am suggesting. Compassion, the antithesis of self-centred behaviour, which Sharia is noticeably lacking.

  • @unknownjackal

Until the Saudi people have a political vote, you and no-one else has no verifiable idea what the Saudi people want. Thousands of years of human history give a good hint that it isn't what they currently have imposed on them.

Quite incredible how the idea of 'democracy' appalls you. Are you really so frightened to know what people actually want?

Seemingly so, as all you offer in your comment is bog-standard totalitarian shrieking. Accusation with no evidence.

  • @unknownjackal

Oil? I personally look forward to its absence but your kings cannot make that "simple turnkey" until the US allows them to... and then they won't need it.

  • @blackmore4 First of all we did shut down production under the rule of king Faisal that why all those mother fucking Jews were angry and the global economy was vulnerable because of it …

  • @blackmore4 … second of all we are still capable of doing so but we are thinking of what is best for our people and our camels … third of all what’s the matter you little pig lover … are you getting a little paranoid of how those Saudi nomadic Bedouins are getting too educated to reply to you stupid comments … keep in mind most of Harvard’s graduates come from those so called “sick people” you referred to asshole … !!!

  • @blackmore4 by the way dont you dare comment about my spelling pig lover ... it realy doesnt matter ... because my native language is arabic ... and we will still communicate in arabic ... because its the language of the holy quran ... that most of you f***ers are in denial of !!!! ....

  • @unknownjackal I shall criticize anything about you or your totalitarian politics I so choose. However, nowhere have I mentioned your capacity or incapacity to spell. You're obviously shrieking your playground insults to so many you have no idea who or what you're talking to or about.

I do prefer pigs (mental awareness of a 2 year old human child apparently) to the Quran (similar thought capacity) on account of their less hysterical approach to existence. Something you might learn from.

  • @blackmore4 Dude go smoke some weed, do some drugs and keep evolving from a monkey to a human being who can make provocative comments about the Saudi conservative society !!! You know what I find to be funny about this whole thing … my people have the potential to buy off your stupid media and control your pathetic mind but for some reason they choose not to do so!!!!

  • @unknownjackal Coming from one who does exactly as a 7th century cave dweller orders him to do, your "mind control" slur is comedy gold.

However, there is nothing "provocative" about criticizing a society which fails to grasp basic human rights. Humanitarianism is not as difficult as you seem to think.

  • @blackmore4 no no my friend ... there is a lot of "humanitarianism" over there ... but what do you know !!! .... just because you read books, news or watch movies about the saudi society and not actually go through the saudi experience makes you prejeduce about it .... and by the way i am very happy that the world only sees the troubles ... it sometimes gives us an advantage over other societies ... you see knowing ur enemy is winning half the battle and frankly the world does not know who we r

  • @unknownjackal The bog-standard Islamist 'protest' of "Media lies!" is more than tired. Most of us are well aware how to contemporaneously dissect truth from fiction but some things are not open to 'interpretation'. The Saudi enforcement of the Sharia stoning of adulterers, hanging of homosexuals and killing of those who criticize or leave Islam is, like women's inability to vote, drive or go out without 'permission', beyond doubt... and will be 'criticized' until dismantled.

  • @unknownjackal You keep saying "us". Either you're referring to some archaic patriarchal men's club or your relationship with basic human instinct, is, like Saudi 'law', non-existent. Aside from the non-political global outcry (I personally know 2 immigrant escapees) self preservation dictates that those inside the 'kingdom' are more subtle than my friends or I with their dissent.

  • @unknownjackal The renowned Arab capacity for hospitality, charity and goodwill is part of your human heritage; it has nothing whatsoever to do with the profoundly odious diktats of oppressive theocratic control. The particularly unusual low crime statistics in 1930s Germany might be admired if it weren't for the fact that we know all too well how they were achieved.

  • @blackmore4 well it seems that you are floating on a philosophical deck to the so called " land of the free, home of the brave " illusion ... that was only manifested from human imagination and the means to make sense of it through various means of communicating ur thoughts to the rest of the world ... for one thing Long live the conservative tribes of saudi arabia from otaibah to shammar to ghamid ... and no outside intellect will have the force to change our ways of life ......

  • @blackmore4 ... you see your thoughts have a long very very long way coming to make any real change ... and I for one is very happy to see people like you try so hard and cry so loud ... but the truth is uv got a long way coming to make a real change .... u need to understand the true line between MASTER and SLAVE and the potential that the conservative saudi society has over your thoughts .... WE DONT DIE WE MULTIPLY ... and every generation is packed with young men who will always resist YOU

  • @blackmore4 in the end I would like to say good day to you sir ... there are very few people like you that are not worth my time and energy to be spending on .... good bye

  • @azooof11 How is she a mistake? If anything, she is an inspiration to Saudi women or any woman who feels maybe oppressed or infrerior to men. You're just afraid because she's a woman and she has become more successful than you can ever be. It's time to speak out. Dr. Rajaa AlSanea, thank you so much dear. I wish the best for you and stay in the US for your protection. When the men/government don't appreciate you, you don't need to be surrounded by them.

  • @azooof11 A doctor? Not human medicine I hope. Your connection with humanity seems strained.

  • @blackmore4 no i`m a Veterinarian do you want me 2 Check On you ? LoL

  • @azooof11 Perfect! Me and my dog are both feeling a bit peaky. But then, actually... this is interesting (ish!), how does a Muslim vet get past Mohammed's dog phobia. It's beyond pathetic because whenever the Muslim kids next door come round to play with my kids, their strict :-( father makes them wash their hands 7 times - according to him, the penalty for contact with man's best friend. A vet problem? I do hope not.

  • @blackmore4 lol

you Are Dumb As i expected

    i`m a real Physician you Varmint :)

But i can be a vet 4 Animals Like you

its a discovryy to deal with a judgmental animal like you

a judgmental animal .... now thats a new one LoL by the way

I can not tell the Difference between you and your dog

so be cool & shut the F**k Up

before i shuv my Stethoscope up your Ass ..

  • @azooof11 And there we have it folks... Muslim reaction to humour... insults, profanity and threats of violence... and they wonder why they're disliked. So, while Azoof seeks other victims for his bizarre interest in anal stethoscope activity, can anybody else tell me the answer to my question about Muslim Vets and the religious problems they may encounter pertaining to the frankly odd Islamic problem with dogs?

  • @blackmore4

first off it's not haraam to treat dogs or touch them and so on. in fact it's even halal for a muslim to keep a dog in his yard for security reason. but its not to allowed to keep dogs in the house because dogs are considered unclean. theres not need to wash your hands 7 times though.

    washing them once is sufficient.

  • @rania3830 My dog and I have considered your response and have quickly come to the conclusion that your points simply reinforce the urgency with which bronze age desert 'philosophy' should be entirely rejected and left in the 7th century where it belongs. Actually, it didn't 'belong' there either; they were just understandably gullible enough to let it fly. There's no excuse now.

  • @DARKEYED9 Ameen to that!

    Bless you Dr. Rajaa.

  • @DARKEYED9

u said : (stay in the US for your protection)... ??

from whom ?? she was not in danger ?? she is one of 150.000 Saudi student who get the chance / scholarship in US...Europe...far east......Malaysia ....etc

    that is the story

she is not in US for her safety ..she is in US for her education

    ( :

    (( When the men/government don't appreciate you ....etc ))

hahahahah..... come on guys, you r really don't know any things about Saudi society ,we r not that bad to say this comment .

    ( :

  • @azooof11 I disagree. She is the best thing to happen to Saudi Arabia. The only claim to fame Saudi Arabia had was Osama Bin Laden, and that's bad.

  • @Whimplash

A - Osama bin laden is from afganistan

B - She can seek fame in much better ways than this :)

    C - Grow Up PLZ :)

  • Why fame? u west are famous of murder, drugs, single Mothers lol, sexual dieases, adultery, rape, etc u want me to go on?.. Am not Saudi but Irish but i respect Saudi Arabia and their culture. Its so beautiful. They keep sinners & sins away unlike u lot, a disgrace to human society. Thats why ur on the down!.

P.S Long Live Ireland and Islam/Muslims!!!!....

  • I feel realy inspired by Dr. Rajaa Alsanea. I am a Saudi Arabian girl who old and out-dated traditions drove me away from our culture. If only I had the support from my family and friends, I would have the courage to write about the real life that took place around me during my childhood and most of my teenage years. As much as you ignorant people try to cover up the truth with lies, thankfully people like Rajaa will emerge and will be supported by the smart, intellegent, and intellectual people

  • I feel very sorry when I hear a girl from my country saying stuff like what you are saying. It is true that girls in Saudi face some diffuculties in the society, but I assure you that you girls in Saudi are treated with respect unlike anyother country in the world. If you want to appreciate what you have, ask a girl from the US how she is treated and then make a reasonable judement.

  • You need not to feel sorry for me! I have managed to escape the unjust hand of my brother who treated me unfairly! I have watched my helpless father trying to protect me.. and I decided it was enough and fleed the country. Do you think I would have been able to speak for myself and ask for protection if I would have stayed! If you are happy with your family and you are respected, please don't speak for the rest of us who are unheard and unjustly treated........

  • I know that there are a lot of girls who living a bad life in Saudi, but this is hapenning all over the world. However, do not generlize because most girls are living a good life, and what happened to you is not because traditions, it is because of your brother. Do not judge everyone based on the ignorance of your brother. You could have dealed with the situation in a better way I think, you could have reported him to human rights and they would have protected you instead of running away.

  • @moa707 Your naivete is stunning, though to be expected in a society which gives women no voice. While men continue to deny women the right to vote, drive or leave the house without male permission, there is no 'respect' for them whatsoever.

  • A challenge to all muslim brothers and sisters sura 18 : 94-100 dhul qarnain /alexander built a wall of iron and copper to protect a tribe from yajuj and majuj wall will be destroyed on judgement day That means the wall should still be here show me the wall of iron and copper if pyramids are still here, then where is the wall It was a mythical story from a book Alexander romance muahmmad heard it in Syria It proves that Koran is the word of Muhammad not gods SHOW ME THE WALL

  • she is extremely mean !!

I support u with luv and respect.

    GO ON !! .

  • Besides, her uncle is the minister of work and workers. And what is blabbing in the interview is just cheap talk. They are so rich because they steal the country wealths and they want to have some fame in front of the tv camera in the West.

  • Did you mean Gazi alGusaibi? Is he her uncle? If he is who you mean then I see why he liked her book!!

  • Yes, he is. Besides, he is the one who wrote this silly novel and his bitch claimed she did it. They are fooling us because we are fucked people like the the Arab fucked peoples.

  • He might be her uncle but I do not agree with you that he was the writer of the book. It is obvious that the book is for an amateur writer.

  • hay najat nice u c u here...

well m not saudi bt spend my all life in saudi arabia.....rt nw im in london....

always i love to knw abt Saudi ppl n all activities in Saudia Arabia.......

n y u dont like it n how did u find this book.. y u r saying this is not good language ??

    reply asap

    shaan

  • I read the book It ain't a master piece, also the writer defending some rich girls who cares only about silly things. While there is other people who have really problemes.

But I give credit to Rajaa as she at least had the determination and power to do something & create something.

I hope next time she write something more interesting cos I am sure she can do it.

It's time for Arabic ladies specially from GCC to start thinking to be active , cos not only man is supposed to be creative.

  • I've read her book in german language - only fantastic. Allah bless Raja.

  • oh. i really love the book. :) made me more interested w/ Islamic culture :)

  • We need more girls like her in Saudi....

  • This little girl opened a small window in Arabia for all of us who want to take a look... Thanks for that!

  • Good for her... an intelligent and beautiful young lady!
