@xMoac I noticed you said "almost every time we went to friends house." and i notice some people (foreign peeps) use the word "legend" like that for example "He is legend" why not say "He is legendary" or as for the top "almost every time we went to my friends house." just curious why do that?

Guess it could be several reason why. One would be that English is not my native language and that I just did not think of the build up of the sentence before sending the response.Guess it´s a bad habit of mine.

I will try to better my English grammar and sentence build up. ;)

I have it on the Virtual Console, since we can download imports on the Wii now.

Anyway, it's a great game. It gets harder on the later levels, though, especially the desert level.

Wonderboy games are SO much better than the Adventure Island games.

I used to play this over and over for hours back in the day!! Of course I eventually lost the cartridge somewhere down the line (as will happen!!)

I remember when I eventually figured out how to load games on emulators, this was one of the first SMD games I played, and as I did back then, I played it hours!!!

Lol good stuff! It's a favourite of mine back in the day as well, good honest fun.

All my mini reviews are recorded on my Sony 21" CRT- it's got to be like it was back in the day! No emulators or LCD TV's here! :-D

I like the design of the background and sprites. They say that the Turbo Graf-X Version has better sound but does anyone know if the gameplay or game design is different from the MD version?

The TG-16 version of Monster Lair has brighter graphics and arranged CD music but either version is a blast to play IMHO :D

I love the wonderboy games they look so good and the sound and gameplay are brilliant. Congrats on completing the HD collection mate, let's hope your megadrive mission is completed in similar style.
