this is the difference between a good player and great player. LZgamer had great macro even when under extreme pressure and losing a lot of his troops. He kept his cool and kept that macro going. While the zerg player when facing multi-pronged attacks started to slip in macro and lost the match in the end because he had too many bases but not enough attention to all of them. 6 expansions doesn't mean you're winning

Great cast, disappointing game. After 12:58, any diamond rank 60 zerg could have taken over for StrifeCro and won by hitting the D button over and over. Instead, StrifeCro showed his mastery in throwing the game away, by taking 3 more bases and making about 6 drones, and not replacing any he lost to harass.

2. Ultra's do not counter Marine + Medivac

3. Try to attack Terran where they aren't sieged.

Zergpieces should have invested in a spire towards the midgame. Corruptors to deal with medivacs become like 4 or 5 brood lords, which would have completely turned the tide of that last battle.

Zerg was way too passive in that game, though. I don't think he touched Terran's main once.

If Zerg had mutas or hydras then game over, however this game does demonstrate the imbalance of terran in the later game. Zerg owned 70% of the map well into the game, played excellently, .... and still lost. Come on Blizzard!

Zerg overinvested in ultras. When the terran player maxed out his marine upgrades, it should have been just baneling spam with infestors fungal growth to pin them down. Force the terran to tech-shift.
