@57earthchild Um, it has been mine. My records hardly ever skip, even scratched. But I do have a good turntable with a weight arm and pitch correction. Now, my CDs on the other hand just skip and jump all over the place. In fact I was at the fitness center the other day and they were playing the CDs and it started skipping, but also got stuck. At least records will play no matter what. But once your CD wears out the laser cant read it. Its done.

@VASINGER Well, no biggie. Just different experiences. My vinyl is packed away as I have nothing on which to play it. I've never had a big problem w/CDs but I have no intent to argue which is best. :) Each has it's good and bad points. User preference. I might even go back to vinyl if it were possible. But I still don't know why this is even an issue. All I said was that this record skipped a lot. I didn't even mention CDs or compare them in any way. But I agree that once CD is gone, it's gone.
