Does anybody wonder if the 18 1/2 minute section missing on the Watergate Tapes referred to Hughes? Idk if that's in the movie the Hoax or not, so you'll have to forgive me if it is.

I heard the 18 1/2 minute section referred to Nixon talking with Hunt on the "whole bay of pigs thing." having to do with the jfk assassination, rfk assassination, bay of pigs, etc.

Supposedly, some guy was going to write a book about Howard Hughes. Well Howard Hughes and his guys told this man that if he wrote a book about Hughes, he had to include all this dirty stuff about Nixon. Well Hughes and this guy had ties to the Democratic Party and supposedly that was why Nixon ordered the Watergate break-in ultimately leading up to his resignation. I forget what it's called, but there is a movie about all of it.

The break-in was so heavily covered up because it involved how our intellegence agencies operate. You would be surprised how heavily domestic covert operations are covered up. We are only NOW finding out about some of the CIA's coup d'etat operations in the early 50s.

Well as far as the the bios I've read about him his mother was overbearing when it came to germs. I think it was a great fear that was instilled on him. I am no doctor, but I believe fear can have a great impact on the mind and i believe that is what happned to Hughes.

At least he took chances and created something.

besides providing jobs for 1000 of people, he stood up against a corrupt system at that time.

He was a pioneer and made "the H4 Hercules" as in the Movie "The Aviator".

He also made more recordes, the most know was a speed record in 1937.
