If u have a APX installed alarm system and it is working off the phone, send a signal from your alarm & pick up all the phones on all the jacks. If u can hear the system dialing out its wired it without line seizure. Which is not only dangerous but against the law. And no just beacuse a customer has DSL on the phone line does not mean u cannot get line seuzre with out disrupting the customer's internet. That is a myth started by APX. APX is the subprime mortgage people of the security industy.

actually Im just a tech, technically i make less than sales reps per job. it's all about doing your job right and being motivated to do it. like i said your trying to blame everyone but yourself in this, so really anyone reading this other than this guy, these kind of jobs are HARD, your not getting any free money, but if you work hard and do it right they will take care of you. APX is a good company and i have worked for 2 other door to door companys, and i found that they were the best on sales tactics makeing sure we are honest and not pushy, its sad if lil things get blown out of perpotion. do your home work before you belive me or anyone else, call Brinks, ADT and APX get quotes then look them up at JD powers for cuz reviews... its your purchus and you can buy what ever you want.

These guys just pulled a scam on my 76 year old mom in Vegas. One of their door to door salesmen approached her at 7:00PM on a Saturday night to sell her a new alarm - WTF??? I just happened to call and spoke with the salesman and told him to leave a proposal. I called back a half hour later and discovered that their tecnicians were installing an alarm despite my previous conversation. I told them to leave and finally they did but not before disabling my mom's current alarm.
