chedd (i dont know how to spell that) but you said there is no word for sin, and chedd means mistake. is there a place in the torah where i can find this word? the word i kan find is "chatta ah". ( חטּאה) is this the same thing or meaning? can you please give me a place where ican find the word "chedd" in the torah? greetings and God Blesses!

What about פשע or עון? I could probably come up with a couple more. The word sin isn't so bad in the right context. I know a whole bunch of people have contaminated the word, but us Jews do believe that you can do wrong against the Almighty, and that, I humbly suggest, is sin. May you be g'bentched for a year without sin!
