Cool- you should try to get with someone to teach you how to kayak and then get on the river- if you run the center or especially the right channel (when the lake level is low and the release is below 3500) then definitely wear a helmet- one guy without a helmet got stuck in the hole (hydrallic) at the bottom of the river right channel that is called dumpster hole - he was lucky as hell not to come out of there without at least a concussion!
