At around 1:04 when Death makes that free fall, he reminded me so much of Raziel from Legacy of Kane games that for a second I expected the voice actor who played Raziel to give same voice to Death.... I was kind of disappointed when I heard Death's actual voice the 1st time, but when I heard it again I was like "well... yeah it fits so much better... still Raziel's voice was kind of badass..." Im rooting for this game :D

To everyone who keeps saying that this story is parallel, here is my theorie, it CAN'T be parallel, since in Darksiders 1 War breaks the last seal after he defeats the Destroyer, and than you see 3 meteorites crashing down to Earth which contain Death, Fury and Strife, so it is not possible that it is parallel.

@Monsterwhoop I think the developer stated that it is parallel. This occurs while War is trying to prove his innocence....Death is also trying to prove it...you get that from the trailer also.

Death is more agile then war he's faster so he doesn't block only dodge and the game is going for a more RPG element but it still going to have the zelda like puzzle solving and the god of war hack and slash. I seriously can't wait for this game!

@Quadraxis As far as I know, Darksiders II will play parallel from the first game. So it's like Death rapes his way trought the underworld while War is already clearing his name up there.

I can't wait untill this game comes out! Gamestar said that Darksiders II is gonna be 4 times (!) longer then Darksiders I. Also they made a loot systhem. So you can find different Items like a giant axe instead of a hammer. So it will be more like a RPG with stats and co. .

So I've got to say it, but I am not expecting anything out of this. The first one had a similar, freakin awesome trailer... it was nothing but a mindless, monotonous, and boring hack and slash. THIS plot that they set up doesn't leave room for anything but a replication of the first. As a side note, the graphics will kinda suck... they didn't even try to make the trailer look nice... I watched it with 720p (HD, and it looked like any old PS2 game. I want it awesome but i dont expect it...

@hydroblast9 look at games like ENSLAVED and UNCHARTED. they are quality games beacause of three factors: graphics, story and quality of interactive gameplay. With this game, the story is actually really cool. I liked some earlier comment that said it would be a cool movie. But the interaction element looks to be the exact same as the first: the EXACT same thing all the way til the end. And the graphics comment was simply to show that they didnt put much thought into this.
