I only recently got hooked on Sharon from Armin Van Buuren's remix of In and Out Of Love. Sharon's awesome on that track. And now I'm digging all her WT stuff too.

As for Loreena...does anything more really need to be said? She's the best. INCREDIBLE voice. Mummers Dance has always been a beautifully haunting happy bright yet dark song to me. I remember a decade or more ago the remixes that were floating around of it as well. Great great Canadian songstress/performer.

While Sharon den Adel is better looking than Loreena Mckennit, Lorena's voice is much better. Her voice is one of the best I have ever heard. It is clear, strong and has great range. Sharon has a nice voice but it doesn't hold a candle to Loreena's.

look honestly, and after having heard each ones full dischography many times, i can surely say that they are equal in value, but a bit different in style. loreena is indeed a phenomenon, a magnifiscent singer and composer. but sharon is all these as well. she has sung many very difficult songs during her carrier, and can reach the notes loreena does. but the thing with loreena is that she sings like she is an actress and playing in a play. but sharon in her shows is also remarkable.

I know all her song so I know what I'm talking about. Few singers can acheive what she does. Sharon is an amazing vocalist. I don't know Sharon or Loreena since I have never met either. So what? The fact that Sharon has a three octave range is a technical aspect and not a qualitative one. Again, so what if she does. I have listened to both, especially Loreena since I have several of her albums and in my opinion she has the more enjoyable voice. In my view Loreena's voice is stronger, clearer and more crisp. That is my opinion. It may mean nothing to you but it does to me.
